Amsterdam is where Anne's story as we know it begins. As a thirteen-year-old girl, Anne receives a (now famous) diary for her birthday and begins to write. During the Second World War, the Nazi regime forced the Frank family into hiding.
This brand new English video tour has been created for anyone who doesn’t have the opportunity to visit the Anne Frank House. In fourteen short episodes, a virtual Anne Frank tells her story and guides you through the Anne Frank House using footage filmed in the museum. The video tour is enhanced with historical images and clips from the Anne Frank video diary. All fourteen episodes are now available on this UA-cam channel!

About the Anne Frank House
The Anne Frank House was established on 3 May 1957 in cooperation with Otto Frank, Anne Frank’s father. The Anne Frank House is an independent organisation dedicated to the preservation of the place where Anne Frank went into hiding and wrote her diary during the Second World War. The organisation brings the life story and the work of Anne Frank to the attention of as many people as possible worldwide, partly with the aim of raising awareness of the dangers of antisemitism, racism and discrimination and the importance of freedom, equal rights and democracy.

I am glad you are bringing Anne's story to life again with these episodes. I have visited the museum (in 2007); it was one of my life dreams to do so, ever since reading her diary as a young teenager in the 1970s. She was born the same year as my dad. He will be 95 this year, and Anne could also have had that chance but her life was cut short due to the corrupt Nazi regime of that day. I am so glad her words live on, and I hope and pray they are never silenced.
