Wish I had more banjo experience. I purchased the tab but it doesn't show the show finger to use on the left hand or the right hand. I'm having a difficult time following the video because it is too fast for me as a beginner . It does sound wonderful though
Hi Jim.....I can play Cripple Creek, Will The Circle Be Unbroken, most of Foggy Mountain breakdown(still in process of learning it) etc. I just need the TIM/MIT below the tab and the chords would be helpful. I think I can play this if I had that information on the tab that I purchased from you. Thank you so much for your reply to me and I will check out your other videos. Other banjo players have referred me to you! @key
+Mark McCluney I'm using an iOS app called Retype. I've not weighed in a few days. My week at the folk school added a few pounds m figuring. Back on the diet... Will report back soon. Lol
Hi Jim, just to check, what is the shape when you say 'up to A' just before the break, i'm guessing its not a regular A chord. Many thanks for giving the skinny on this epic song
TAB: wildjimbo.sellfy.store/p/city-of-new-orleans/
I like the way you play it slowly and deliberately so that I can follow what you are doing.
Thanks for letting me help 😊
Thank you! One of my all time favorites songs!!!
It's fun. 😃
My God, just hearing this song for the first time tonight and what a musical narrative!!
It's a beautiful piece of writing for sure!
Thank you. So glad I found your channel.👍
You are so welcome!

Binge watching 🎼🎶🎵♥️

This isn’t for beginners. I do have a couple of beginner courses here on UA-cam.

Frets 6,5,7 on strings 3,2,1.... Basic F shape
Any chance you could do a bluegrass tutorial of "Dixie's Land"? I much prefer your methods.
Don’t think I know it.
@@JimPankey I figure it's too much for most folk to handle these silly days. Thanks anyways!
