      Seriously!? You didn't say "100%" water proof, but you definitely used similar terms to sell your garbage products. It's a shame for a big company to be this ridiculous. My husband cleaned his new iphone with a wet wipe for coronavirus concern and the phone has been restarting every 2 minutes since then. So what is the water proof percentage there? We are switching to Samsung and will never get another of your products. Soon people will find out that Apple doesn't have any advantages anymore.

    I think I found my issue. I am trying to fix an iPhone XR that had cracked glass, and water got in near the Taptic Engine. The Taptic Engine connector looks in good shape, but when I started to reassemble the area around the Taptic Engine, I noticed the connector for a little flex board glued to the underside of the bracket that goes over the vibrator was bent looking. I knew I had not done this when removing the connector, and when I touched it with my tweezers, it got half way knocked off, and I saw corroded pads underneath.

    Does the screen flash with a bit of green on the sides before it reboots? I believe I have this exact same problem. I left my phone on the edge of the sink, some water from showering sprayed on it, and now it's stuck in this loop.
    I left it in a bag of rice overnight and it was actually fixed the next day. Then I plugged in my cable to update to iOS13, got error 4013 and now it's stuck in that same loop again. I really am desperate to fix this, but I'm pretty sure the stickers will have turned pink.

      Alcohol to remove minerals from water. Water minerals is the one that end up damaging the connections and when a phone drops in Distill water a phone might not get so much damaged compared to water with minerals

    Hello, what kind of liquid did you use for cleaning?

  • @spoononacouch2984
    @spoononacouch2984 3 роки тому

    mines doing this right now as I'm commenting. it started around a year and a half ago when some water went in through the screen cracks, I believe. after the damage I couldn't use it for 3 months. one day it fixed out of nowhere and after that, there were still some occasional boot loops but then it stopped for around 6 months and just a couple days ago my iPhone Xs just force reset itself and the boot loop issue begun. It continuously restarts and there's a bit of green on the sides of the screen immediately after the apple logo disappears. I tried forcing a software update but no hope. hopefully it just stops like it did months ago

      Almost same. I splashed some water on flat backside of my iPhone X while it was off. I dried with towel and turned ON, it turned on normally. Then after 5 minutes it restarted and went into boot loop. What kind of water resistant device this is?
      I am trying to use ReiBoot by Tenorshare to see if it would fix the issue while keeping the data safe. Very disappointed by Apple.

      Lorraine It worked for me.. lol. It works for a couple of days then the phone goes back into a bootloop. I got the phone to work again and i found a solution to stop the boot loop if you can’t afford or can’t fix the phone. Just shut the phone down after every use. That’s the only way mine works.
