My 5 year old daughter is watching with me this morning and wanted to help teach Benjamin how to plant. She said he’s gotta tickle the roots more to wake them up 😄 that’s her “special trick”! ❤

EVERYONE LIKE SO LAURA READS THIS! GREAT IDEA! Have your mom take a picture from same standing location, same angle, same flower pot everyday she is downtown at work! Then at end of season (or even during like monthly maybe) do sped up clip of all pictures all edited together showing the growth of the plants!

Watching you and your channel rekindled my love of gardening a few years back and I am infecting my neighbors now! They helped us build a huge raised bed, then tilled up a garden for themselves. Last night their 4-year old dug holes, put my seedlings in them and pack them in. He was so proud of himself! Thank you for the wonderful impact you have on our lives.

I'm so happy to see you and your mom enjoying things together. My mom has been basically out of it for years. Dementia is not a fun thing to watch or have to take care of. But we still take care of her no matter what. Enjoy your mom time. We were robbed of ours but thankful for the time we had. Love all these flowers! I plant for my dad. He loves sitting and looking out at all of them. Blessed his heart... He will be 91 this summer!

Oh my gosh, I'm so glad you kept in all the footage about the water tank. Those snags really do hit sometimes and result in slow starts, but they're always part of projects and learning to troubleshoot and roll with the punches is very important!

Her husband just retired from the Air Force and she is a Director of Emergency, Operating Room and Respiratory. they have three children. I have been telling her about you and your Mom since they moved to Idaho… Now she is watching your videos so she can create a nice garden for their home. i sent them a lilac and limelight hydrangea from proven winners and she is learning from you on planning her yard from your sister’s videos. The planting of wheat brought back such great memories of seeing the farmers field blowing in the wind. He only planted it between growing corn and soy beans so it was a rare occasion. I always felt so lucky to live across the street to witness everyday his field. Your videos bring back such wonderful memories that I thought I had forgotten.

Would love to have an overview of that water tank setup! So ingenious. I take care of several beds in my community and have to hand water…this would be awesome to have, even if we’re a smaller version…and no Biotone/fertilizer?
The soil looked fluffy rather than root bound so maybe the soil was prepared prior too filming? I was wondering the same thing.
