Rhythm ear training test for drummers and other musicians looking to improve their musical ear and sense of rhythm and timing. The test covers feels such as swing vs shuffle, subdivisions (8th notes, 16th notes and triplets) as well as tempos (speeding up and slowing down) and also drum notation and written sheet music for drummers. This is a fun and useful test for musicians wanting to test themselves, learn music theory and improve their knowledge.

No mistakes…Look out Vinnie. 😅
Cool!
I wasn't sure I could tell differences between 3 bpms but I did! 18 score, I'm so happy
The tempo chapter was so tricky! Great work, thank you for this test.
I passed everything!!! I’m so shocked 😂 , I’ve only taken 1 drum lesson (self taught ) just didn’t know what they were called ! (Played along to everything too)
nniicee
16
I really wish I could see the notation for the beat at around 7:30. Want to learn it but it’s tricky by ear haha. 1/4 note high hats with a busy snare in between always make me fumble. Playing too many 1/8 note grooves 😅
They all sound so similar!
14. I need to work on my swing and shuffle skills.
Good test for beginners, but in my opinion it needs some adjustment...the feel questions have some problems...question 2....nobody in the world would consider that a swing feel (the bass drum and snare patterns are not what you would consider swing...) so the question is misleading....don't worry if you didnt get it right.
Okay, made one mistake because for me the first two pieces in section #1 sound the same. What the actual difference?
dang i'm new to drumming, so getting a sixteen is an accomplishment!
Well done, you’ve got potential!!
17 Nice test thanks.
Great job! Which one did you get wrong?

17. That last tempo question got me 🤦🏽♂️
So close!
Me too!!!!
Same
❤
I got 17 TwT; the 6th question in the tempo question got me
Guess who needs a metronome 🙋♂️
😂😂
I'm not a drummer, I only have djembe and I don't know notations, but on other tasks, I made 2 mistakes.
Sounds like you were on course for a good score!
I do all those beats per song. My old 8 piece sounds way different then this, when i play all heads are covered with very thick cloth and have zero bounce. band members love the speed and dead stick tone
choking them can work well for certain styles for sure i have found great stuff in both sides i prefer myself to let them ring and breathe and barely muffle so they stay live and musical
15. Shuffle tricked me.
I got 15 not horrible
i would lie if i say 18 but it was close, i got 17.
