My Alfa Romeo GTV6 -83 # Sound check

Went for a joyride in my GTV6 and decided to film a litte with my mobilephone.
Specs: Alfa Romeo GTV6 with 3.0 12v V6 from 164 "backdated" for straight 116 configuration, ES30 (SZ/RZ) stainless headers, Ansa middle- and backbox. 75TS-gearbox with LSD. Bilstein chocks and alot more...

And if you can indeed find a authentic South African limited edition GTV6 3.0 for sale in decent condition(ONLY 212 build), it will cost you more than a late model Porsche 928, and, you will be spending your life adjusting those 6 DellÓrto carburettors. I know, as I grew up with these great cars. Appart from that, you will love it every day of your life, and other people with decent car sense will envy it. Best of the best..

I have changed them all + the support bearing and rubber.
Since then no problems. The rattle you hear in the video is because the adjustment at the front Guibo was not properly tightened, it's gone now.
Awesome car. I love mine. Had it since I was 18 (I'm 25 now) and I will probably never sell it =)
I would never recommend an Alfa though, that is something you have to find out for your self ;)

Thanks man. If you want a true GTV6 3.0 you will have to import an South African one, because that's the only place that got the 3.0 engine in the GTV6 from thhe factory (they also had carburettors instead of the L-jet injection).. Or you can do as I did and modify an GTV6 2.5 by puting in an 75 3.0 engine or modify an 164 3.0 12v or 24v (more work) to fit =)

did you ever happen to have any problems with the drive shaft? more specifically the "guibos"? I am interested in purchasing one.. do you recommend it?

Really? Most people think they suits the car very good... In the future I will probably buy split wheels ether:
F40 replica rims or Alfa SZ replica rims.
