In today’s video I reassemble/rebuild some VW Rocker Arms for my 1968 Volkswagen Beetle. The special washer on my previous rocker arm broke right in half.

Small world seeing you here Carlos! I searched youtube for reassembling vw rocker arms because I'm doing it for mine- never expected to find a fellow club member's video and mention of Duckman Cycles. See you around, thanks for posting this! Gave ya my sub.
Carlos u will learn VW air cooled. I just watched the video have Glenn or wild Bill help u on the stuck valve u might get lucky if they hit the valve with a hammer and it might get unstuck. I'm in cold state of Maine. keep up the great videos
Hope you get it running better sooon. Kinda tough when you have to drive it to work. I never saw one of those wave washers break?! Thanks for the video.
Hi Carlos from the uk! Those spring type washers are called wave washers. Spring washers, are like one coil on a spring. It’s great to see progress being made on your car. I feel your pain trying to do stuff, and being on a low wage, (I work for The British section of Walmart) Thing to remember is stuff doesn’t always have to be expensive! Maybe lookout for people doing garage clearances, who want to offload tools, and parts. Checkout mustie1 on UA-cam. He’s a vw Guy, who goes to yard sales and buys machinery, cars, and parts for virtually nothing, then fixes it up and sells it, or stores it for when he needs parts....
Hey brother. Great video. I heard about your channel from the Duckman himself so I subscribed. I’m thinking once I get a bug here soon I’ll start my channel. Possibly.

The curved washer acts like a "pre-tensioner" to the rocker arm.
