Last Day Good Food & Wine Show Sydney @ ICC Darling Harbour Part 11 - Sun 23rd Jun 24

Dulcineasdiarycontinued - well it's a wrap for another year at the Food Food & Wine Show on Sydney @ the ICC Darling Harbour.
An announcement is made every 15 minutes as the show closes at 5 pm.
Unlike Melbourne where there is a mass exit but there are still quite a few people hanging around past 5 pm when the show closes still drinking, in Sydney if a stall holder sells out of stock they pack up immediately and leave and if they are running low on stock they start packing so by 5 pm quite a few stall holders had fully packed up ready to leave the show. There are hardly any visitors still hanging around and drinking .
By 5 pm there is nothing left - not even any staff making the citibank and merchandise stand so there would have been no chance of me grabbing a show bag if I wanted one unlike at the Melbourne show.
No spare glasses and no glass exchanges for I think bags of chips this year left.
The hall is quite empty of visitors by 5 pm. I just hung around to see if there were any very last minute deals .
A pair of RSA Marshalls were wondering around the main alcohol sections of the show hall and a set of fire extinguishers was on display on the floor next to a pillar in the main alcohol sections ( the heavy alcoholic beverage sections). At the end of the show the pair of RSA Marshall's were stationed at the exit. Alcohol is taken very seriously in Sydney.
