My kit did not come with any instructions, the websites instructions are for the compressor v2. They do have a component placement list, which sadly doesn't describes the directions in which you have to place the components. I managed to find 1 photo with a example luckily. How ever (and here is my question) i cant find a drill plan, i went for the undrilled case to save some money but now i have the issue of hole placement. Also i am not sure of the size the holes need to be
Hi there, you can find the schematics under "build documents". As for the orientation of the components: If a certain orientation is needed, like for the diodes, this is marked on pcb directly. For the placement of the pots, you are free to put them wherever you want, maybe you have to use some wires as extension between the pcb and the pins of the pot. Same goes for drilling: If you measure the diameter of the pot poles, you have the hole size and can put them wherever you want.
@@duchyofdrive2922 The pots are pcb mounted tho, And i dont know how to see the orientation of the metal film resistors that need to be in to the right direction to prevent interference, the 9v input also needs to be precisely drilled as it sits in the slot of the pcb. Im also a novice so reading schematics is something i am not familiar with
@@febeomnibeepboop6367 For the resistors, I don´t see that a certain orientation is needed. For the capacitors and diodes, you can see it on the pcb. Yes, the pots are mounted to the pcb normally, but you also can just solder some wire to the pcb and the pots to be more flexible in the placement. But I am sure if you ask the Musikding Support, they can support you with a layout for the enclosure with the measurements and postions for the holes.
