Jonathan Franzen writes such polished prose in all forms of fiction and non-fiction. Somehow he has faded out of the literary scene. Could this be something to do with his deep involvement with climatology, I wonder. Or has he lengthened his usually prolonged period between works of long fiction....

No such thing as too old and living with family. 35 and loving it. If you can't make a million dollars, just share the home with those who did. The only real downside these days in doing that is you often can't have kids. And that will become a problem. So it is a problem for the world. But for the individual, and indeed the nerd, it's not that bad.
Thanks for the content. I thoroughly enjoy the interviews. You said your life was boring so feel free to make many more. Maybe you can discuss intellectual topics outside of your work in addition to your work. Life after the pandemic and so on.
