This was a great interview. I learned so much. I was in grade school at the time. I would hear bits and pieces and names, but wasn't aware of everything going on. This interview has really peaked my interest. I'm also looking forward to the book on Lincoln. Thanks so much Peg. Great job.
You’re very good at doing author interviews. I hope you have opportunities to do more of them. Looking forward to reading this book too. I already have his books about Roosevelt on my TBR list.
Oh yes, Peter...that question was on my lips, but I just didn't get around to asking it. I had to keep it to 30 minutes. But it's a question I can email him...he always does his best to answer everyone who visits his website.
My favorite author and one of my writing influences. I'm currently doing research for a novel trilogy I plan to write about the Indian Wars. The first book will be about Cochise's War and peace treaty with General Howard. The second book will be about the 1870s Sioux War between Sitting Bull and Custer. The third and final book will be about the 1880s Geronimo Campaign.
I loved this interview! I'm putting this author on my tbr list. Can't decide if I should start with his latest release (which sounds fantastic), or with The Frozen Hours since the author and Peg agree it's probably his best 🤔

Thanks for the kind words, Laverne! I was very eager for this interview. I've read Jeff's books most of my life!

Great interview Peg. Has been awhile since I have read any historical fiction. Might have to change that
Awesome job, Peg! Nailed it!
Aw, shucks, thank you!

Thank you so much, Linda! :)
I agree, Linda. What lovely compliments. ❤
Great interview. I'd like to know if Jeff Shaara has ever considered writing a book about the Vietnam War and its effect on our nation. Thanks.

Thanks so much, Arianne. It was a treat for me, too! :)
Coming from the UK, I must admit I have not come across Jeff's work before but listening to the interview makes me want to delve in.
I'm thrilled to hear it!

Tough choice, I know! But all of his works are so accessible, you could start anywhere and not be led astray.
