My theory is the media do this on purpose, because they want people to read their columns to find out what was said.
one of the worst press conferences .... not one reporter asked about the decision to penalise two plays after the act or how they couldnt win from a 14 point start ...
That was such a BS call. And a little earlier, when the Knights got pinned for a forward pass. That wasn't forward. Which led to the Titans first try.

The burden of proof should be on the defending team. If you don't have conclusive evidence to not award the try then it should have been given. If the bunker is unable to make professional calls we should axe them. Simple as

The video confirmation system sucks. A try is scored...the ref awards it...the crowd celebrates....then a min later the party is ruined.
What's the point of getting hyped when it's going to get taken away. The nrl messed up..they really screwed the game.

Everybody seems to forget that earlier in the game, the Titans score their first try, off the back of a Knights forward pass call. Where the pass wasn't forward. And another try off the back of a Knights player, supposedly tackling a player without the ball (wasn't even remotely in a scoring position, either) This penalty was given to the Titans after the following tackle.
@@jimijackson biased fans celebrating tries they judge from 100 m away is not a reason to get rid of the bunker lol. Game results would be a farce if there was no bunker. Tries wrongly awarded/not awarded. The issue is that bunker makes horrendous calls that provoke "get rid of the bunker" kneejerk reactions
I don’t know why people are even talking about being allowed to strip the ball when grounding, when he didn’t even lose the ball anyway. I watched it like 20 times and don’t know what the bunker and knights fans are talking about

And then we get Graham Annesley comes out each Monday morning week after week with some lame arse excuse or apology for when they get it wrong and he’s been apologising way too many times , perhaps he’s more suited to go back into politics and leave the NRL referring boss to someone with balls and has no issues stepping down some referees even if they are a protected species like the ex referees wife.
