After he'd been rescued by the police and RSPCA in the UK. He had been abused and used as a bait dog for dog fighting, prior to being rescued. While he was at the rescue centre, he became withdrawn and depressed. But on meeting my fiancee and I, he ran over to us, rolled onto his back wanting attention and fusses. We were only going to foster him, but fell in love with him there and then and we knew we couldn't give him up. So we put in the adoption paperwork and 2 weeks later he has liked as the King of our home. He turned 15 last month and still thinks he's a puppy sometimes. What Lee and his team do is amazing. Especially with the high number of dogs he has under his care along with the other animals. He still has the time to give each of them his special love.
Aussie are gorgeous dog's. Lee wait till she feels more and more at ease. She's going to be quick as lightening...lol. They are part of the herding breed, rocket fast.

Chihuahuas make wonderful companions. They are easy to care for and require little grooming since the long-haired Chihuahuas' coats do not tangle easily. Being a small breed, they also have lower food requirements compared to larger dogs. Chihuahuas can be territorial, affectionate, and very attached to their owners. How long have you had your Chihuahua?
The Asher house is amazing I hope this economy turns around so that I can afford to support all these wonderful rescues this is one of the amazing ones you can tell he loves these animals!!!

People can say what they want about how Lee approaches new dogs but it's very clearly working for him and those dogs. And it works well for them. What a beautiful sweet precious baby! When Lee said "No one's ever gonna hurt you again," the tears flowed because that's such a beautiful thing to be able to promise and keep. That's love. I say that yo my two new adoptions who were about to be euthanized because they were long stays in a kill shelter whose time had "run out." Well, no as far as I was concerned. My two new babies are part of a pack of 8 now and i say the same to them everyday with the same huge and kisses and love Lee gave Lady.
Lee is such an incredible, special man, who has such a way with not just dogs but all animals! They just seem to instantly have a connection and sense of security with him like I have never seen before. He made a video yesterday on his channel about all the naysayers who say negative things about how he rescues animals and puts his face in their faces too quickly and maybe they are right. However, first off anyone with any kind of common sense knows that way isn't for everyone and secondly, Lee is not dumb, he has been at this for awhile and he knows how to "read the room" so to speak. He knows if an animal has an aggressive way about them he is not going to put himself and the animal in harm's way. I for one am so appreciative of Lee, his animals, and his staff and volunteers. Thank you Lee and everyone at the Asher House ❤
I'm convinced he's a real dog whisperer. Most dogs have a hard time with men, due to men usually being their abuser previously. They just somehow can see into his intentions and know they are safe with him. It's wild ❤❤
