- Work on Chandni Chowk's redevelopment finally began in December 2018. Of the Rs 65.63 crore earmarked for the project, the biggest chunk of Rs 45.03 crore went towards the works done by the PWD, while the share of the BSES and the DJB was Rs 13.52 crore and Rs 9.06 crore respectively.

A redevelopment work in my city have been done in just 50 days also with 20 times less cost than this.
However the area which have been redeveloped was 3 times smaller than chandni chowk

2 months back I went to Chandni chowk... Everything was in mess.... I couldn't find a wash room.... Had to go to nearby restaurant....

I can see most people praising AAP party and criticising Modi.
A few things I would like to share for my fellow Indians:
1) All Indians want development but they want only their own party to do the development. They cannot tolerate and will turn their eye when someone else does the development.
2) Almost all Kejriwal supporters like what is happening in Chandni Chowk but AAP supporters like Dhruv Rathee and other leftist have heavily criticised the development being done in Varanasi.
3) Just like Chandni Chowk, Varanasi is also a hub where foreigners visit for slum tourism. So why do AAP supporters criticise that? Just because Modi is doing it.
4) For people who don’t know. The entire city of Varanasi looked like Chandni Chowk. While Kejriwal is developing this 2 km long street... Modi is developing the entire city of Varanasi like this.
5) What is happening in Varanasi is like a 1000 times bigger than this road but leftist will never appreciate it. Instead they will say things like the soul of Varanasi is it’s narrow streets, you are destroying the Kashi we knew while growing up, you are destroying history, heritage... and then they’ll turn and start appreciating the Chandni Chowk project.
To everyone who read this. Stay away from propaganda. Judge each person on their own merits and facts.
