- This indoor roller coaster features mummies, scarabs, Anubis and children's worst nightmare the creepy antagonist Imhotep. Thrilling riders since 2004 and using linear induction motors to launch riders into darkness, this ride manufactured by Premiere Rides goes both forward and backwards. A great queue and pre-show telling the back story of Imhotep and the ride which is based on the Mummy movie franchise with Brendon Fraser. This ride cost 40 million dollars to build and @TheCoasterViews would say it continues to stand the test of time since opening in 2004.

This attraction is in the show building that was once occupied by the ET Adventure from 1991-2003.
I went to this one in orlando. There was actuak fire there 2 times in the ride which freaked me out. The complete darkness part is really fun too its only something you understand if you experience it though
Love this ride just wish it was longer. Is there a rumor this is going to be replaced?
They said probably fast and furious
I work there at that ride, our managers haven't said anything about replacing this ride but only freshening up the decorations.

We filmed this last Friday. We were there for Nintendo World and were surprised the lines were so short for Mummy and Transformers.
@@TheCoasterViews sounds about right. That's why me and my bf go when there's a new thing (ride or land) cause everyone's there and ignoring the rest of the park. We were there on Wednesday actually but I figured you were there either Thursday or Friday.

My dad beat the shit out of me when I was eight because I didn't want to go on this ride and my famliy keep forcing me to go on and I just had a lot of tantrums to not go on but one of the employees how work on the ride told my dad that this ride is pretty scary for me but he didn't listen and just started yelling and my mom said that she'll wait until him and my older brother get off the ride but my dad instead just said where going home and he beat the shit out of me saying it was my fault we left but it was his fault for going home because he forced me to go on and my mom and brother where both on my side until this year I went back on with my famliy and didn't get scared of it and my dad ended up applugizing to me for forcing me to go on this ride 7 years ago
So that was my traumatizing experience on this ride when I was eight
No parent should ever force their child to go on a ride they don’t wanna go on
The middle row is bad the front row is least scariest but fun back row idk
So the front row is less scary?
