@@adyashasorchiddiaries9550 ok will try that..My orchids are under 50%shade net so i thought the light was enough but now i think i wil hang it higher. Thanks ..
Hi, glad I found your videos, thanks to Nina and Sunita, I am wondering if tolumnias need to grab onto something in order to grow well, what if they are simply bare roots in small empty clay pots Or would it be better to place them on top of a chunk of styrofoam or a big chunk of bark for added humidity ? I live in an appartement in Canada, it is quite dry at about 40%rh. I had 4 tolumnias 2 have died, 2 are surviving but not doing much, but one of those two has flowered twice. Thanks for this interesting video.
Adyasha ... thank you so very much for taking the time to make this informative video. I love how bushy your's are and hope to correct the culture of mine this year. Attempts to reverse the damage started last year 🤦🏼♀️ lovely little bloom variety as well. Really appreciate your time, thann you 😍 have a great evening 🌸💕
Just wanted to inform that my orchid grew ! I lost hopes but then I took a last chance and kept the orchid plant which was having just 1 stem... in the coconut husk with some charcoal s inside. As my orchid is a Vanda kind so it can tolerate high temperature I kept on watering in 1-2 days and hung it upside down on a tree so air circulation was present and excess wAter gets drained out. Also water on leaves doesn’t stays.. so overall it was difficult to revive but I left it uninterrupted for 1 month ! It grew finally with 2 new roots coming out. Snails and other insects doesn’t harm it as such ....
Your tolumnia's are doing very well! Thank you for sharing your care and tips on them. I am happy I found your channel! I hope I pronounced your name right? Probably not, I am so sorry for that! I will do better next time, I promise! :D
@@adyashasorchiddiaries9550 Maybe at a next time I will get it completely right! LOL, but thank you so much! I have now so much more video's to watch after these collabs! Love it.
Hi Adyasha, I am from Punjab. I recently bought venda, tolumnia and foxtail recently. I am just lost at care. Should I mount venda and tolumnia on bark?
You have beautiful and vibrant tolumnia . I like your simple and doable tips on growing them easily. Mounted tolumnia work best for me too. I like the way your videos are presented. I too have a blog on growing orchids and my last post was on tolumnia orchids as they are my favourite orchids. I would appreciate it if you could check out my posts and let me know what you think of them. I write under the same name as mentioned here. Thanks.

Can the Tolumnias be mounted on lava rock or brick piece ?

Is there any problem like crown rot in tolumnia ?
I want to place it under open sky so it will get rain water
Yes..they do get crown rot if water gets trapped in the crown portion ..
@@adyashasorchiddiaries9550 thank you so much for your reply
