  • Trout Fishing in Maine
Here's a video I've been working on for awhile now from one of my favorite adventures of the year. I went back county by float plane to try and catch one of the rarest fish in the world the land locked artic char and some brilliant trout. I went with two good friends. This trip was at peak foliage in some of the most beautiful and remote places in Maine I have ever seen. I got to explore ice caves, swim in crystal clear water , fish all day and then stay at an off grind cabin in the forest. Its a longer video so I hope you make some time to sit down make some popcorn and enjoy this adventure with me!
I want to give a big thank you to Jesse and Jacob who with out them this trip could not have happened. They are both amazing content creators as well and you can find there videos on the trip on there you tube page.
You can find Jacobs videos here. • Cessna 180 fly out - R...
Jesse video here • Searching Mountain Pon...
I hope you enjoy and I cant wait to share the exciting things to come!!!
Until next time Go Discover Something Awesome!

The Sunapee are only found in .2% of lakes, rivers and streams in Maine. They are a lot like togue. Even this time of year, fall, they're going to be pretty deep into the water column. I've read and experienced 40-60ft and because they are so pinpointed in location, the presentation is absolutely critical. Anything that looks foreign will spook them. Because the brookies are more plentiful, your odds are higher that they'll take a much more artificial presentation. Having Jessie with you gives you such a higher chance thanks to his skills... plus Jacob is, at this point, one with the water. Awesome content.

Nice brookie man. What reel you using on that yellow rod? I'm kind of a fan of those oversized fly reels. Have quite a few pflueger pakrons.

If you want the absolute most beautiful yet adrenaline pumping/ scary/ sketchy climb on katahdin then do the knifes edge part... not for those who are clumsy or afraid of heights. But it's an amazing experience. Path gets 3 ft wide at points and just drops thousands of feet on each side... you really feel like your on top of the world.. that hike is what caused me to move to maine!

every once in awhile we get a glimpse at some nice scenery but 90% of this video is you and your friend talking in front of the camera, if the video is not going to be ABOUT trout fishing don't call it that.
