    It is one of the most important lessons. Non native speakers of English find stress so difficult especially Arab learners, as Arabic is not stressed language.

    You and your lessons deserve countless likes. These simple rules worth more than gold. The difference between them is very little but it increases the vocabulary just by a stress.

    What a captivating lesson ever! I watched this lesson so many times but up to now I've never grown bored of it.... Braaaavo Emma!
    Here are some examples of the words that have the same rule;
    ▪They need a big transport to transport all the boxes.
    ▪Workers will hold a protest this weekend.
    Or
    Workers are protesting against high unemployment.
    Others words are:
    ●permit
    ●insult
    ●impact
    ●estimate
    ●excuse
    ●contrast

    Love MM lesons. This one and any. Thank You for the interesting lesson. We just memorize that the noun is first syllable and verb is second syllable. I am not sure if this apply to all or there is exceptions.

    We absolutely need more of these! I just found out that the word "download" is pronounced with a different stress if you add a pronoun such as "them". So It would be downLOAD them instead of DOWNload them.

    When I watch your lessons, my stress is from the beat of my heart. An while it seems unnoticeable, those words do pair in different directions. Lately I have been thinking about running and I will look into audible. Sigh ❤... Thank you so much!

    I've been always wondering about the importance of "stressing words" and here is the answer... I've never thought that they are really useful and we need them this way...

    I was curious if American and Australian English are similar in terms of word stress, and it seems like yes! I was surprised though that there is as much reduction to schwa - in my mind, Australian English is less reduced. Great video:)
