sir i have a question that by using this staircase it may create problem in diapragms action as in previous versions of etabs.diaprams taken at only horizontal slabs.

Great videos sir. But I do have a doubt. when applying live load on staircase the option was 'replace existing loads'. Doesn't that mean it will replace the previously assigned dead load. So should we click 'Add to existing load' while assigning live load?

no, you have to model, assign loads, run, and then design ..
I have one secondary beam which is rested on main beam and another end is rest on column... Please tell me how to design in such case ..that beam is failing again and again even i changed depth to 500 mm still it is failing ...help ...before 30 /4/ 19
Sorry you didn't get help sooner. You only needed to apply a release at the ends of the beam

I just have a small question. I am modeling a timber (mass timber) core wall in place of concrete core wall. Can you please tell me how to find the forces in the wall joints as those timber walls have to be balloon framed with steel connections. I just wanted to calculate how much forces those connections would take up.

why did you apply dead load after live? won't it calculate its self dead weight,when density is already defined for M25 in material property?

joining the middle of two columns with a beam will create short columns. These short columns require more reinforcement due to increased stiffness resulted due to decrease is length of column to half. Will static seismic analysis detect those as short column and give the increased reinforcement? or should I do dynamic seismic analysis?
If dynamic analysis is required, which dynamic analysis should i do?- response spectrum or pushover or time history. Or any one of the dynamic analyses will work?
Short columns does require more reinforcement.Column stiffness is related with its cross section ,not length.Adopt response spectrum for dynamic.
Why not be given a restraints on the corners stairs sir?
I'm confused with load assign. After adding Live Load with option(replace existing load), you added Dead Load with option(replace existing load). Will Dead Load replace Live Load you assigned?
