As someone said it already, amane kanata As for me, irys if you want to, her carbonated love song is just eurobeat heaven But before that, suisei's ghost is just amazing especially the percussion
Ever Blue by Omaru Polka, great emotional song, not a widely known song in the community, Polka definitely has more well known songs, but Ever Blue is peak emotion, like a "behind the mask" song, considering her character is a circus performer or you could go another path and react to a male vtuber, Banzoin Hakka has some great songs like Shattered Wings, or Gavis Bettel with "Unlucky"
Someone else has already mentioned it, but I'm gonna suggest Betsu Sekai by Amane Kanata as well. The work she put into this song is mind boggling, and it's fully animated as well. Also the origin story of the song is absolutely crazy.
Yeah my brain was convinced Towa made that cover her own when I heard it for the first time. Others mentioned Hakos Baelz "Psycho" it is a banger. Or something more melancholic, Nanashi Mumei's song "Mumei"
This is the first cover song of hers that really blew up and got her noticed, so when she performed it in 3D for the first time, she couldn't hold back her tears during the chorus
Now that you have finally reacted to ERROR, i highly recommend ''Blooming in the Mud'' by Hakos Baelz and Tokoyami Towa, aswell as Towa's first ever cover ''Brilliant'' and her cover of ''Black Sheep'' I also recommend Hakos Balez - PSYCHO, Crazy Scary Holy fantasy cover, her cover of Kyoukai no Kanata, original Play Dice, aswell as her entire album ''ZODIAC''
One of my favorites is Shallys by Aki Rosenthal. She actually sings it in an elven language made just for the song based on her lore of being a half-elf from another world which is really cool! Two other options I'd like to see would be one of Hakos Baelz' covers like Dawn (original by Shikata Akiko) or Hontou no Oto (original by Kokia) or something by Omaru Polka such as Ever Blue and Po for the tonal whiplash or her cover of Empress (original by Teniwoha). Inugami Korone also has some fun stuff like Wonky Monkey, Doggy's god street, and Trouble Wander.
"Error" is a very special song for Towa. I suggest watching one of her birthday 3D concerts from 2021-24 and her 3D debut. Also check out Aki Rosenthal's "Shallys" song.
If I remember correctly, the original artist was so impressed with Towa's rendition of the Cover that they said Towa really owns that song. So Towa got the seal of approval from the original artist! Also, another great Towa song is "My Roar"! I'd love to see you react to it
Hope to see a reaction to Hakos Baelz next. For solo work i recommend either: her original PSYCHO, her cover Hontou no oto or her cover of a million miles away (imo the most overlooked cover in holo) For collabs either: Crazy scary holy fantasy with Sakamata Chloe or Blooming in the mud with Towa.
By how much ERROR is associated with Towa, it might as well be her song at this point. Mostly joking on that, but it really is a great cover of a song that is somewhat fitting for Towa's story. As far as new Holomems to listen to, Omaru Polka's "Persona" is a fire song and is also one of my personal favorites from Holo. Polka is just great in general. Her original songs cover a wide range of styles, so there's a good bit to explore from her.
Raimei from Towa could be a wonderful next contender for an reaction 🎶 And it's her best cover especially her live performance Topps the studio version of error with how much feeling she gives it during that performance
This song has a lot of emotional significance to Towa and her fans. She cried singing this the first time live, it was her debut in 3d after a rough first year with some scandal and slow growth. Palette was produced by niki, they've done multiple songs together. Interestingly, Towa covered another song by niki "brilliant" . Niki said that song wasn't meant to be able to sing live. And yet, Towa did it and it impressed Niki.
I want to recommend MEDA from RK music with solid singing foundation technique , she only has one original song which is Sing-ularity. Her singing stream are very good. It's a pity that I think the only original song may not show her full talent, but still enjoyable. Hachi is another good Vsinger from RK music, she is especially good in singing ballad. With very good singing technique and relaxing voice, she is my favorite to listen before bedtime :D Besides, 獅子神レオナ (Shishigami Reona) from Re:act also has a very good voice. Though you may find most of her video are cover song and not much original song from her. 町田ちま(Chima Machita) form nijisanji , her singing is contagious, you can feel the emotion while she is singing. Recently, she cover a song 少女レイ(shoujo rei), her cover is the only one that I think has expressed the most accurate emotion of the song (After listening to a dozen of this song's covers from other Vtubers). For Hololive, IRyS is one of my favorite. Though she is one of the most talented singers in Hololive but it seems that her songs are relatively less sensational than the other Hololive members. Most of her song are enjoyable and her recent song Carbonated Love is fun to listen (a Eurobeat song that's rare to find in Hololive members) There are a lot of good singer in Vtubers, hope my recommendations are useful, the above are some of my top favorite (excluding the Vtubers that you have reviewed before, like Suisei)
Thanks for the reaction! Since you're looking for a new vtuber's music, I'd highly recommend Amane Kanata from Hololive! You might find her more impressive or interesting given her story: she's half deaf and might go fully deaf in the future, but she didn't want that to stop her from pursuing music. She worked to pull off feats like holding 21 and 25 second notes (even going up an octave mid-note) in live performances, and even writes and composes some of her own songs! A few suggestions: - Betsu Sekai This is "her" emotional song, like Palette is to Towa or Stellar Stellar is to Suisei. Kanata did the lyrics and composition here. - Fallen Wing This was produced for Kanata by Toby Fox and Camellia, at the request of Toby Fox himself! He wanted to make this song for Kanata because he was moved by her playthrough of Undertale's genocide route. His letter and short summaries of the story are in the comments under the song if you're interested in a little bit of heartwarming context. - Oracle This is just a very fun, boppy, and popular song she released earlier this year that shows off her higher-pitched voice more! Not really a vtuber, but you should also check out 9lana! She has some great original music and has been described as a higher pitched, Ado-like singer. Her "BALALAIKA" is a banger.
if you want a recommendation i would probably say tsunomaki watame with her songs mayday mayday, what an amazing swing or revival. my song, cloudy sheep, watameister and fins are also great but overall shes done quite a few different song styles.
For the next I'd suggest Fubuki (HololiveJP) with her cover of "Rotten heressy and chocolate", original from Pinocchio-P (vocaloid producer). It has really marked drums and a deep message. Along with rotten Heressy, "Magical girl and chocolate" is a nice one, Fubuki also covered it
I love this song exactly for how emotional it is and how amazingly Towa delivered it. Thanks for appreciating it! As for other songs. Completely new for you would be AZKi - いのち(2024 ver.). It's just pure anime, so beautiful and heartfelt. Also AZKi's voice is so soft I can drown in it. Also, I really suggest you return to Suisei and check "Sanji Juunihun". Can be found by「3時12分 / TAKU INOUE & 星街すいせい」- my favorite Suisei's song.
So before she released this song she almost had her career go up in flames. Basically there was a man's voice on one of her streams and her 99% JP fanbase at the time got upset and almost all left her. Western fans caught wind and she rocketed up. She decided to do this cover because of the meaning of the song lyrics where it's about going through hardships but the chorus is a "hey look at me now" kind of statement. She has since come out with her own OG songs in her latest album with the same meaning behind them, one is about the friends and fans who helped motivate her, and another is directly towards her fans. During her first concert she couldn't sing through the one about the fans because the people who it was directed towards were right there and had been cheering for her, they ended up singing the rest of the song for her (there are no clips of it since it was part of a payed section on the stream and JP is very strict about recording vids at concerts, to not distract others there)
Keeping with purple vtubers... perhaps Banzoin Hakka's "Raven's Paradigm." FWIW Hakka has a cover of "My Roar," a Towa original, should the need for more Towa get too strong :)
If you want a sampler of sorts I would suggest the two Hololive Mixup Medleys - this will hopefully be relevant this year as well because for the last two years at New Years they have a little mini-skit they do that leads into a medley of several members dressing up as a different member and singing a cover of that member's song.
My suggestion would be Narissa Ravencroft. HoloAdvent's Devilish Diva. Amazing voice. If you want a cover, my favorite is down by the river from baldurs gate 3. Original song, my favorite is Shatter.
Can I suggest a very nostalic song? Its Glorious Morning by Waterflame. It really resonates to every internet gamers around the world before flash games died out and shutdown in 2020s. It is a song from a flash games Age of War, my one of the best flash games I played till 2017.
I know it's very different from doing structured releases, but Vtubers do a lot of karaoke. So I humbly suggest; "Ironmouse Sings When I Look at You in her Opera Voice" on Gremolin's channel (clips are the only way they survive youtube bonk)
Look at uh... Kobo's "Help," or something from Kanata, or IryS. They've both done a variety of different genres, so you can really just open their lists and pick at random honestly.
since you liked ERROR by niki, I like to suggest you close to you ft. flower.Personally I would say they did amazing tuning with the vocaloid to bring emotions
This song is very special for Towa. She went through a pretty nasty hate phase when someone heard a guy in the background of a stream, which eventually got noticed by the english community before HoloEN existed. The EN fans went and supported her and to this day she has a particularly large english fanbase as a result. She pulled through and was performing this song on stage during a concert, and the lyrics of persevering and pushing through the pain had her begin to cry on stage as she was singing, creating an exceptionally emotional moment. IIRC, the original creator of the song actually reached out and gave her the song as if it was produced for her because they were so moved
This is the song that made me fall in love with Towa because she sang this on her 3D debut, it was really amazing and I loved it because unlike this music video she released after her 3D debut she sang that with passion and at one point you could tell she was crying while singing and it hit that much harder. As for suggestions I'm not sure if you've seen this one but I'd suggest watching "A Million Miles Away" by Hakos Baelz which was WAY different than what she normally sings or Okami Mio's cover of Sparkle, the song from Your Name.
Towa and Error hold that rare privilege where the original artist, Niki ,has basically acquiesced and said Error is Towa's song now.
It's one of her best song. Her Live performance of it will have you crying along with her.
As someone said it already, amane kanata
As for me, irys if you want to, her carbonated love song is just eurobeat heaven
But before that, suisei's ghost is just amazing especially the percussion

or you could go another path and react to a male vtuber, Banzoin Hakka has some great songs like Shattered Wings, or Gavis Bettel with "Unlucky"
@@Lortius honestly, a double feature of Towa's My Roar, followed by Hakka's cover if it would be awesome.
I support Baelz "Psycho"
Yeah Psycho is so freaking good
Seconding "mumei".
I love her duo with Bae - "Blooming in the Mud". Good chance to open Bae for yourself
This is the first cover song of hers that really blew up and got her noticed, so when she performed it in 3D for the first time, she couldn't hold back her tears during the chorus
I got one for you, also from Hololive IRyS's "Here comes Hope." One of her earliest original songs.
For more Towa recommendations I nominate Akuma (it might be called Devil depending) My Roar and Raimei
Now that you have finally reacted to ERROR, i highly recommend ''Blooming in the Mud'' by Hakos Baelz and Tokoyami Towa, aswell as Towa's first ever cover ''Brilliant'' and her cover of ''Black Sheep''
I also recommend Hakos Balez - PSYCHO, Crazy Scary Holy fantasy cover, her cover of Kyoukai no Kanata, original Play Dice, aswell as her entire album ''ZODIAC''
@@vegetarex155 how did I know I’d see you here despite never watching this channel before.
One of my favorites is Shallys by Aki Rosenthal. She actually sings it in an elven language made just for the song based on her lore of being a half-elf from another world which is really cool!

Even if it's a cover, Towa's ERROR is easily my #1 favorite Hololive song. The raw emotion in her voice is simply incredible!
Even after all this time, I still get teary eyed thinking about her live performance of this where you could hear the tears and struggle
Raimei from Towa
