Lots of open areas are devoid of enemies seems very odd because the base game was much more dense with trash mobs and sub bosses.

I think it would be weird to give DLC a game of the year award. The DLC is amazing but it is just more Elden Ring which already won GOTY in 2022. I think RE4 will be GOTY 2024.
