I love 'em. I had a pair back in the day, when I was just a kid, in the summer before starting high school. Went with my big bro to go get him a pair too after he seen mine. He passed away a few years back so, I definitely have to get a pair as something else to remember him by. Nostalgic.

I like the CONTRAST stitching too and on the Jordan 1 Trophy Rooms this grew on me alot !
Citrus is probably my number 1 favorite 7 colorway, the colored stitching on the black looks so cool to me. The Raptors are also really cool to me, I hope to see those make a comeback too. Maybe it's just the black with small hits of color that I like 😹🔥

When I was a kid, my dad took me down to the sneaker shops for back to school sneaker shopping. I was usually wearing chucks and DCs back then, but my dad was doing well at his job and he wanted to treat me and my sis. These were the sneakers that both him and I picked out and loved. These, the Military Blue 4's, and a pair of pumas were the three sneakers I was rotating for the rest of the school year. I literally picked these up for the nostalgia. They remind me of my dad and how he excited he was to buy me my first pair of jordans. They may not be hyped, but man do they take me to a good place.

Barcelona 92 olympics changed the basketball landscape for ever. Things would never be the same again. And MJ led the greatest team EVER assembled, wearing these!!! Simply GORGEOUS, but my favourite colors for these are the original grey and the all black Ray Allen wore!

Had these in 2006. Retailed at $135 back in the day. $200 is a bit over kill for a 16 year old sneaker. However I did cop because it was a shoe I owned years ago.

I had the 06 original Citrus and they were my favorite before they were stolen. They're back, I got them again and the materials are identical, but they are now shaped more like the OG.
The early to mid 2000s Jordan’s are fire that’s when they were dropping those different colors so to see any shoe come back from that era is fire 🔥 and they’ve been doing that a lot this year
A fine example of old school colorways they could retro. I think JB needs to shut the door on the new colorways and venture into different retros in general

I like these , def a retro i have wanted to get again since i had and wore these to death in the early to mid 2000s. I like the AJ7s quite a bit overall , not quite in my 11s / 12s and 4s level but not far off there right after that. 7s do not always look as good on me so much anymore but still a big fan of the 7 silhouette and many great colorways we have seen on them over the years. These and the Cardinal 7s , both coming in 2022 are must cops for me.

People need to put some respect on these and the 7 in general. Great design, very comfortable underfoot, and great material quality (for a Jordan, at least).

When I had these 7s back in 06 they were one of the most comfortable Jays in my opinion

Btw I got them because when I was in 6th grade all my friends were talking about these coming out & for the first time ever I got hyped at the prospect of getting a Jordan. This was the pair. Unfortunately I beat my shoes to shit when I was young so I don’t have my original pair however I did indeed get them in 2022, & at retail! Def a special pair for me!!

I remember these from 06, and thought the black/yellow/red were nice unique color blends, but what always turned me off was the yellow stitching. This shoe would’ve been much better if it was all black without the yellow stitching tbh. It ruined the shoe for me and that’s the reason I’ve personally never wanted to cop these, Raptor 7’s on the other hand are the best looking 7’s, glad I copped my pair off GOAT 3 months ago.

First they screwed up the green beans, now this (my 3rd favorite sneaker). it's supposed to be jordan 7 CITRUS, not jordan 7 Mcdonalds. i don't know what they were thinking swapping the beautiful orange-gold stitching for mcdonalds arch yellow. thankfully retro 7's use phylon midsoles, so i don't have to worry about crumbling on either of my OG citrus pairs. im actually re-gluing one of them now. at least they gave this release what appears to be good nubuck, just like the originals. i honestly thought they would give it the usual poly-coated split leather garbage. well, i suppose next they'll screw up the burgundy's or something

I’m glad they rereleased these, but the shape on these seem off to me, so I’ll think I’ll get a used ‘06 pair, clean them up and still pay less than the retail price on these. I had buyer’s remorse when I got the Flints last year, so it’ll probably be the same thing this year if I buy these.
The shape is actually closer to the OG silhouette than any other 7 to come out in a long time. I was hoping the flints would have this shape but they didn’t
@@adventsociety5382 I still prefer the ‘06 shape on these, so I’ll go for a used ‘06 pair and clean them up. I’ve regretted buying those Flint retros from last year, and the same with the French Blue retros from 2015. I’m not taking that risk again.
I will say that I’m hoping that they bring back that OG shape for the Cardinal 7’s that will drop later this year. If they’re on point, I can retire my ‘06 pair.
