I revised the ingredients a little like instead of dark soy sauce I used oyster 1/2 tsp. and 1/2 tsp honey instead of sugar. Is rice wine the same as cooking wine? This is so delicious. There are two types of Chinese soy sauce. Light soy sauce has a lighter color, more flavor, and salty. Dark soy sauce is much thicker, darker color, less salty, and slightly sweet.
Light soy sauce is more salty and diluted than dark soy sauce. Besides the color, dark soy sauce is thicker, less salty, and some brands add a caramelized flavor.
I tried. I like the looks and HOW-TO technique but tastewise... it is missing the umami flavor, I dunno what 🤔 maybe MSG? 😋 It is also pretty salty to me. I even used less-sodium soy sauce and a bit less than a teaspoon of salt. ✌️

Thanks for trying. Most of the Chinese use rice wine to cook, so we just call it as cooking wine.
