Tbh considering how bad Scotty from marketing fucked up with “where the bloody hell are you”, he actually would have done better having John Jarratt as Mick advertising
Kasia N mi know right! It just makes you realise how many over rated actors their are out there! John Jarred's screenplay as Mick Tyler is truly frightening and sooo authentic....
Jof Oner Well he's not as popular as he should be! He's not exactly an A list actor! Even though I personally believe he should be. I haven't really seen him perform in any other roles, so it's hard to judge.
Omg ik I'm late to this but I just watched the 2nd one (never knew there was) only watched the first. But wow this man is a brilliant actor . Shame he's so underrated
I'm a good judge of films, usually on first viewing I judge whether they are rubbish or good. If they are rubbish I never watch them again but on first viewing of Wolf Creek I thought it was a very good film and Wolf Creek 2 was just as good aswell. Great films.
The reason why wolf Creek and 2 is a great film is because the scrpit was brilliantly written, the direction was great and the acting was perfect.... Think about it, the storyline is wrote simple, but with those 3 combined it makes it the best horror film like no other!
EXCEPTIONAL ACTING! ! This movie is a different twist from the original and every drip as good. Had me wincing and biting my nails. W.C. I and II have cemented Australia as home of some of the greatest actors of horror.
I still have this recorded on USB. I clearly remember how his interview came up last on the show. Not sure why this video upload is boxed? Reminds me of my "All Men Are Liars" DVD
I've just one thing to say to Jason Voorhees, Michael Myers, Leather face, Norman Bates & Freddy Kruger..EAT YER HEARTS OUT BOYS..Theres A new psycho in Town.
The mini tv series Wolf Creek was very good. There is only one series, comprising of 6 episodes. After slaying an American family camping in the outback, the daughter survives and escapes...only to exact revenge on Mick. I'm in the UK, so had to view it via Putlocker, but I'm glad I did. The show taught us a little about Mick's awful childhood etc. As far as I know, no series 2 will be made, although I learn that the movie Wolf Creek 3 is in production. The second movie was long-winded and at times boring. Chris (UK).
Fucking hell this guy scared the shit out of me in the Wolf Creek movies, lol. Mick was such a demented and evil psychopath that I would be nervous and a bit terrified meeting this actor in real life because of how fucking insane his portrayal was. Wolf Creek kind of flew under the radar here in the States, and I would be willing to bet that the vast majority of my fellow Americans are probably wouldn't remember it if you asked them about it today. For me Mick is the scariest killer from any slasher movie because he comes off as a super friendly and helpful fella when you first meet him and then in a split second turns into a complete fucking psychopath in the drop of a hat. With other slasher movie killers like Jason, Freddy, Michael Myers, ghostface and most other killers, you know right off the bat that they are evil and their sole intention is to murder you so you always have your guard up and are expecting them to try and kill you as soon as you see them, but with Mick it's the total fucking opposite. When you first meet him he seems like a decent and cool dude who is just trying to be helpful, so you let your guard down thinking he isn't going to do anything, and then all of a sudden he has a huge bowie knife and is trying to gut you all while talking shit and being a total cunt. I wish American film makers would model their horror movie villains more like Mick instead of unstoppable silent mask wearing forces of nature because it makes for a more realistic and believable villain, which in turn makes the movie scarier because Mick seems like just another member of society instead of some silent dickhead stalking around in a mask, and is someone who might actually exist.
Wolf Creek was not a critical smash LOL; it got mainly mixed reviews and Roger Ebert hated it. It wasn't much of a financial smash either, it only grossed around 36 million.
36 million is actually quite a big financial smash considering Wolf Creek was made on a very small budget and didn't get a very wide theatrical release.
really wolf creek movie is so much dangerous but i can not see that this person is a actor of wolf creek and some words of this video i can not understand salute to john
the movies are extremely average, and so is the recent Stan TV series, but the actor is brilliant. But honestly many horror films always make the killer look the best, so it's a no brainer he's the star.

Rex Dawg thanks :)
Kasia N this guy is not close to under-rated

Jof Oner

Just saw Wolf Creek 2 yesterday. Holy shit! It was better than the first
Just saw it today, watched the first one years back.... GOOD LORD 😱
AussieOfSteel I loved it
Personally got eerier and more serious vibes from the first one, second one had so many inconsistencies.
@@remissiveslave that's why it's a masterpiece.
*Inconsistencies,* just like life.
No way
Had the pleasure of meeting Mr. John Jarratt at Perth Supanova a few weeks ago. Such a cool and polite dude.
John Jarrett is Australia's Jack Nicholson. He's at his best playing characters who are unglued! :)
Excellent movie and John Jarrett is going to be the iconic Australian psychopath of the future! Love WOLF CREEK and loved WOLF CREEK 2 even more!
He makes a good outback Freddy Kruger
He's experienced some shit in his own life you can tell. That's what makes him such an incredibly authentic actor.
i just want to say that John Jarrett is a cool actor and my friend asked me to watch wolf creek 2 a few months ago and im hooked ever since x
Hey John Wolf Creek3 please what a great actor
scared the hell out of me! that laugh.....
Omg ik I'm late to this but I just watched the 2nd one (never knew there was) only watched the first. But wow this man is a brilliant actor . Shame he's so underrated

Just as good as the first one.
i think its a better movie Lol.....
Tyler Downey I thought number 2 was better
Definitely up there with Anthony Hopkins hannibal, scary and lovable character

This man is awesome, big fan of his work .
John Jarratt reminds me of Anthony Hopkins character Hannibal..The menacing presence.
Wow he actually mentioned Beavis and Butthead.....awesome.
John Jareed is the scariest character there is by far
I've just one thing to say to Jason Voorhees, Michael Myers, Leather face, Norman Bates & Freddy Kruger..EAT YER HEARTS OUT BOYS..Theres A new psycho in Town.

I cant belive its the same guy, his voice is completly diferent than Mick Taylor
John Jaratt is a great example of why some actors are paid millions.

wtf was going on there at the end of the video?
Legend season 3 please
I saw the 2 parts of wolf creek, really what made this actor was a true psychopath
scary grandfather
I hate his feminine hair style. I wish he was more like his character in real life. The twitching is for real I notice!
Lol this interview is more psychotic than the wolf creek scenes
Yes hes quite dry
Wanna see a part 3
Tess reminds me SO much of Deb from Dexter!
Wolf Creek was not a critical smash LOL; it got mainly mixed reviews and Roger Ebert hated it. It wasn't much of a financial smash either, it only grossed around 36 million.
they've gotta make it sound good so this one DOESN'T completely Bomb out even though your right about the first WC!
lol true haha
36 million is actually quite a big financial smash considering Wolf Creek was made on a very small budget and didn't get a very wide theatrical release.
True.
***** In that case, I'm looking forward to seeing it when it hits NZ cinemas.

the movies are extremely average, and so is the recent Stan TV series, but the actor is brilliant. But honestly many horror films always make the killer look the best, so it's a no brainer he's the star.
The movie is ok... but this actor is fairly unknown throughout the world....
