One of my favourite aircraft, remember cycling to RAF Linton on Ouse 10 miles from York ,as a teenager watching them take of and land , acationaly the pilot or student pilot would wave ! . AHH misspent youth lol. Have got 8 of these in my stash😂
It seems you missed the even bigger bargain on this last month. The week after they came out (I got 1 of each) they did 50% off the middle of Lidl! So I picked up extras for £3.49 each!
Hi Baz and Sarah...how was your Christmas and a happy new year to boh of you.....for the love of god DONT ....and i repeat DONT use the red paint that comes with this....its AWFUL.. even when thinned its still a gloopy mess and it will still be sticky to the touch when "dry"
Hey Jaws! Merry Crimble and all that. Had a quiet one ta, hope you had lots of stuff in the stocking. Ta for the tip, red pot duly flung in the bin. Have a fabulous new year, all the best!
I concur. The red paint is terrible. I only ever use the poly cement now if scratchbuilding something with a large surface area, like a building - essentially I use it like a tack weld, and when it's dry, go in with the precision (Tamiya Extra Thin/Revell Contacta/EMA Plastic Weld) stuff later. As for using it on a kit? No.
@@brianartillery fully agree...not only are the paints garbage but so id the glue from the tube...if you mus use it then a dab on a bit of cardboard and ten use a cocktail stick to apply it

I fill the Revel glue dispensers with the Airfix glue and you can’t tell the difference.
