I agree, most of the quality on UA-cam is really 'lacking' to say the least! Thanks for your comments. I'll try to get back up there with a chopper and shoot the rest of the lake.
i love lake tahoe. especially southe shore, i live in sacramento and i love driving upthere anyday of the year. my dream is to live on the beach and be able to run into the lake if i wanted..

We actually shot with 2 cameras, a Canon XLH1 and a Sony HVR-A1U. We removed the doors on the chopper and shot the Canon on the side (using a custom made stabilizing mount) and shot the Sony basically tied to a pole sticking out about 4 feet from the side facing forward. The format recorded from both cameras was 1080 60i HDV. Yes, still selling or renting it.... Apple just bought some :)

i own a cabin there:) in south lake tahoe:) 2 blocks away from the beach, just 3 blocks from stateline and at the bottom of Heavenly. i can see the beach from my window
@blkraven7 are u serious? Ohh man.. I plan to move there and stay for life.. Now you mention about dump raw sweage in river, golf courses dump fertilizer. Can you tell me which location?? so i can help lake to back to clearest again like 10 years ago. I figure out that we can help out to protect them to dump it as disrespect nature.
That's pretty ignorant to say... Kind of like saying all democrats are socialists who enjoy killing babies... But I'd never say that. I'm definitely voting republican in this election and I also care very much about treating nature with respect and being good stewards of the earth...

We camp in Meeks Bay once a year and it is a trip we all look forward to. It is a beautiful place. Awesome vid.
