So impressive how calm you two are! No screaming, cussing, or throwing stuff. I really enjoy seeing that! I also find it impressive how you two are able to figure out the problem and fix so many things on your own! More proof of the intelligence required to be a farmer! 🥰
Hey thanks for the explanation on the corn head pulling the stalk down and stripping the ears off. I watched combines in the field around my childhood home for years and never knew that. Lol
Cole and Brian, words are inadequate to describe the joy you guys have brought me since I found Sonne Farms channel. I am well on my way to getting all your videos watched. You both are great representatives of American farmers and agriculture. The videos do a wonderful job of showing the farmer as an agronomist, biologist, conservationist, geneticist, botanist, chemist, veterinarian, animal dietician, mechanic, welder, fence builder, trucker, machinery operator, marketer, ditch digger, business owner, accountant and much much, more. I love the comedic interplay between you two, but much more the love you have for one another. Thank you for your message of faith, hope and love that you share with us in these chaotic times!
I'm glad you showed more detail about how the corn goes through the combine. I always kind of wondered. You know us City Boys ain't got no Farm smarts when it comes to that type of stuff.
Thanks for an honest video of a challenging day on the farm. Glad no one got hurt or nothing got set on fire. Ellie rested in the garage with shade, food and water. Be like Ellie.
WHEN YOU THINK WE'VE TIRED OF YOUR B VIDEOS. WELL JUST KEEP POSTING. YOUR CONTENT IS INTERTAINING AND OFFERS US A BREAK FROM A WORLD GONE CRAZY. THANK YOU
Top work Sonne Farms and were you have machinery you get break downs it happens to us all. Great video Chet, Brian and Jeff and so happy the chain didn't cause a fire. Well spotted Brian and a simple sort. Nice to see your new concreat were you work with the cattle and feed the new calved cows. Great video Sonne Farms
Shout out to Brooks Oil! I remember Daryl and David running the Standard bulk truck and Hank Tapken running the Mobil one back in the 70s. Does me good to know Brooks Oil is still chuggin' along! Kudos to Brian for keeping it all in perspective. Stuff happens, equipment breaks, etc. Nice to see someone who knows that, while this day could have been catastrophic, everything is okay and--more importantly--no one got hurt. Lifting a glass to you guys and all those who keep taking care of us. Cheers!
Thank God y'all didn't have a fire!!! Cole I don't think I've ever seen someone jump as high as you did! That was pretty cool! Hope y'all have a good week!
I've seen and heard from other channels here on UA-cam about machinery catching on fire, and now I understand how it could happen. Yikes! Also, loved that outro.
Had this exact same problem this fall, put some duct tape on to keep in from sliding again until we got a new one. Inside that collar/sprocket is little roller ball and it was just wore out, new one locked on solid. Enjoy your videos and you working with your dad. Amazed at the amount work you 3 get done. Keep up the good work man you guys have an amazing operation going on there. Green is the best and only way to go.
Fixin on the fly 101! Really enjoyed this video it was very satisfying. Honestly most anyone but obviously a farmer would have lost their cool. Fix it and carry on awesome! 💋
Tough day for sure! You and your dad are very patient. You’ll need a new power sprayer to keep that new cement area clean. Your “Chattel” ( cattle ) will love you for it. 😉
Grest video cole its really cool to see the techniques you guys do in a situation when u are in the middle of the field working glad everything is good good thing the combine didnt spread any sparks that wood of bin bad thunbs up and shared
Hey you guys ! Great video, excellent camera angles again ! Tip of the day: Whenever my brother and I were working and it was a good distance apart like him inside and me on the roof, I just put my earbuds in so my hands were free and then we would talk over the cell phones to give directions. It was a lot easier than shouting and the neighbors didn't think we were fighting about something because we were shouting. 😉
Awesome video Cole I am glad nothing got on fire me and dad has had days like that before I thought y’all’s had a dryer Cole for the corn and soybeans looking forward to the next video Cole tell everybody i said hi 👋 and asked about them hope everybody is doing good and safe you stay cool 😎 Cole we will talk to you in a day or to 😎🤙
Smart move, the large concrete cattle moving pad. More that cattle can be kept out of the winter snow, mud; more weight they gain. Takes calories to move in thick deep mud. Plus, saves so much in labor and fall accidents. Can tell who did all the hard close work on the broken chain/sprocket. Guy with dirt all over him, Dado. Heard this "Afternoon Crack" and had to scroll back to the vid, thought Claudia had dropped by?
Five dang problems today, you're not alone out there, a few other channels were having a few flip-flops too. You had a friend, it was a spy from the neighbor's field, they were wondering what you eat in the combine. The long face was pretty funny, I thought you were talking about the cattle, and here it was a different four-legged friend. Nice concrete projects happening, nice to see.
Glad we're not the only ones with days like that. Just finished straightening the inch and a quarter loader brackets dad "adjusted" and welding it back up only for my mum to call in a panic as the care wouldn't start and she was going to be late for an appointment as she jumped in the truck as I went to give her a ride I heard and realised she had turned the isolator the wrong way I then get to find my dad had busted the dung grab lifting a fallen tree of a fence. Our neighbours and the machinery reps were all correct we have never busted a tine as they are hardox, we have torn the frame apart though in an unplanned attempt to rip one out.
Bucket of grout sealer will buy you a few years of easy cleaning and likely extend the life of the textured pad by 3 or 4 years on the front too. One of those rough cowculations.
FYI. In this video your dad is using a crescent wrench to tighten a nut and he has the wrench backwards. The wrench wasn't designed to work that way. He could break the wrench doing it that way.
I see you used an adjustable wrench that's a good way too bugger up your nut that your tightening best too use a ring spanner then it won't slip and round out your nut, but it was a great find and fix in the field love your show. [PS Use Carbon powder or coal dust on those acidic land bear patches it will fix them up and bring the PH back so crop will grow again good luck] Frank from Australia.
Brian aging you 20 years made my night! Love his sense of humor!

Johnny Johnny Johnny, any day you don’t wake up taking a dirt nap is a good day.😊👍
Ellie’s paw prints in concrete would immortalise the memory of her many years hence.
The rubbing your nose at the end!!!!!!!!!! LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You're freaking hilarious Cole! LOVE YOUR VIDS!!!!!
Cole, it could be a worse day, you could walk into the house for dinner - and dinner is a pot roast! 😂
Sending good thoughts for a wonderful harvest and NO FIRES!! 💕🙏
That looked like a very successful day to me. You guys were able to fix everything and that's what counts.
Shout out to Brooks Oil! I remember Daryl and David running the Standard bulk truck and Hank Tapken running the Mobil one back in the 70s. Does me good to know Brooks Oil is still chuggin' along! Yes David is still going strong and I remember Daryl and Hank as well!
Great video !!! I would run that feederhouse in the slow range (big sproket) for corn... Especially that dry
I'm glad there wasn't a fire. At least it was a quick and cheap fix. I really enjoy watching your channel.
That's one BIG ass bowl of dog food!
Always interesting, thanks for taking us along for the ride!
Loving watching life on the farm.
"I emptied my fire truck a little bit ago." had me dead
Thank God y'all didn't have a fire!!! Cole I don't think I've ever seen someone jump as high as you did! That was pretty cool! Hope y'all have a good week!
Hi Cole hope you are doing good today and your family too.God bless you and your family today and always. Thanks for sharing everything.
Thank you! You too!
I've seen and heard from other channels here on UA-cam about machinery catching on fire, and now I understand how it could happen. Yikes! Also, loved that outro.
I love watching these summer blogs on Feb 16 and -13 here in Mpls.
i love this farm channel i live on a farm to
thank you
"Why the long face" I've been waiting for so long for you to finally make that joke
I like "are you ok?" when talking to a flattened animal.
What's the deal with that cow anyway?
I enjoyed getting to see how the combine actually pulls the corn in. At least no one got hurt in all the mishaps. Good vlog.
Makes me want to get out there and help, right here in February! Yeah I’m binge-watching farming! I have looped the loop!
Glass half full day really....everything was fixable and not too much down time! Love your videos Cole! 👍🇦🇺🦘🥰
Awesome Video and Much Love as Always 🌞 Farms!!!!
Glad the Bins are filling up that = more green you know.

Ahh, one of them days where it’s beer thirty at 7:30 am.
One of the unknown problems with beer 30 is that it means you're a half hour late to start with.
Good videos guys, keep up the good work and thank you
Farming is rough and tuff and some days don't go smoothly but any day above the grass/crops is a good day
Another great video. It is good to see that you show the many things that go wrong. You guys are amazing can't wait for the next one
Thanks for your the explanation of how the combine works
"i don't think I want to farm today." - Cole.
Best quote for 2020 on any farm UA-cam channel.
Awesome way to adapt and overcome love seeing the concrete I’m a mixer driver myself. Good luck on the rest of harvest!
Thanks 👍
A cow Ellie and out take fix in one video......WOOHOO! Thanks😊
Jeff seams like he is a really nice guy. Hopefully eventually he will be more comfortable in front of the camera. Great job though Cole.
Fixin on the fly 101! Really enjoyed this video it was very satisfying. Honestly most anyone but obviously a farmer would have lost their cool. Fix it and carry on awesome! 💋
Love the vids. Me and my cousin watch the videos. Hope you have a good harvest and stay safe
Awesome! Thank you!
We took our combine to the shop the other day.
Tough day for sure! You and your dad are very patient. You’ll need a new power sprayer to keep that new cement area clean. Your “Chattel” ( cattle ) will love you for it. 😉
😁Congratulations on reaching 100K subscribers!!😆
Yay! Thank you!

Love your content and angles.❤
Thank you so much!
Out of our states 5 or 6 field fires i know one for sure was caused by a combine!! But thats whats out in the fields right now!!!
Lovely concrete, nice pattern.
Hey Cole you need Pit Vipers and “Now it looks like Christmas!” - Brian Sonne
Bucket of grout sealer will buy you a few years of easy cleaning and likely extend the life of the textured pad by 3 or 4 years on the front too. One of those rough cowculations.
Awesome job guys!!
Thanks so much!
Hang in there!
Thanks for upload x

Aw I bragged on you to soon, your taking lessons form the Cornstar. LOL
Very nice video, thank you. thank you for the info.
Our pleasure!
We have a 7215 r just like that at our farm
Momma said there would be days like that. Good video keep up the good work.
You got that right!
is that how all combine works?
FYI. In this video your dad is using a crescent wrench to tighten a nut and he has the wrench backwards. The wrench wasn't designed to work that way. He could break the wrench doing it that way.

I knew it I knew it I saw your grey horse that you bought. I knew you couldn't be a cowboy without a horse
When your working in the dry fields you need to keep your fire extinguishers full at all times.
We had same problem with the chain on are 9770, all we did was put a hose clamp on it to stop it from moving back and fourth
