Hi friends, happy Thursday!
Remember Beanie Baby Mania? It was INSANE. Everyone thought these things would be worth thousands. And then outta nowhere, Furby showed up and completely changed the game, terrorizing kids and adults alike with those creepy little eyes and phrases. If you’re a 90s kid like me, chances are you had one of these iconic toys. But what if I told you the fads that had our parents duking it out in the Toys “R” Us parking lot ended up being…well, just fads?
I appreciate you for coming by, and tune in next week for more Dark History.

I was a camp counselor during the tamagotchi craze and my campers used to make me babysit their tamagotchies while they were in the pool. So instead of supervising them while they were swimming I was focused on keeping a dozen tamagotchies alive.
Ohh i had a tamagotchi my sister and i would take shifts 😂
So who fell asleep on their shift and ruined everything? Lol
😅😅😅😅😅😅
😂😂😂😂
Kids willing to risk their own lives lol 😂
When we were moving across the state I had my Furby stashed somewhere in the back of the van, no access to it among all our stuff. That thing turned itself on during the drive and wouldn't shut up LOL he made those bored noises "bee do, bee dooo, bee do, bee dooo" and when we went up a hill we heard it go "WEEEE HEE HEE HEEEE" we were dying 😂
Oh my Gawd!! You just made me cry laugh!! That is hilarious !!
Mine would make those notes randomly in the middle of the night. Scared my sister and I to death so we made our parents get rid of it. Sorry to waste your time standing in line for that one mom😬
Aujourd'hui c'est le 8 mars la journée internationale de la femme 😊😊
That's terrifying and hilarious at the same time.😂
Bahaha this happened when my dad was driving his car by himself and he had nooooo idea what it was 😂😂😂😂 thought there was a crazed alien in the back seat hahaha
Bailey, I loved the Ty Warner Beanie Babies story. Fun fact I worked at TY in westmont IL from 97 to 2002. My experience down to earth, one of the nicest owners I have ever met. He treated his employees well. We got to buy beanie babies directly which was awesome. In 1998 when he made his 1st billion dollars he gave all his employees a christmas party at a fancy boat cruise in Chicago. Also gave a his employees a bonus worth their yearly salary. And gave them all a billionare beanie babie with a numeric sequence. This was extra special because he knew eventually people would sell it for money. Everyone did. One of the most fun enjoyable companies to be part of during the craze. Thanks for the memories.
You should look into the dark history of McCormick and company. My mom and I were looking at taco seasoning at the store and because of you I thought “I wonder if McCormick has a dark history?”. Allegedly there was a lawsuit filed against them last year due to high levels of toxic metals like lead and arsenic in their seasonings. I’m so intrigued. Thank you for all you do. I love binging your dark history playlist!
Jeezus, any clue about the dark side of taco meat?
Yes, I want to know that history ! And now I am scared of the seasoning
The dark side of Taco Bell meat would be interesting…..😉
Really? No recall? Still sold? Hmmm
Edit: there will always be arsenic in alot of seasonings because there is arsenic naturally in all seeds-which make up alot of seasonings (nutmeg, mace, cloves and many more)
@djquinn11 never ask how the sausage is made, and never ask where your taco meat came from. Ignorance is bliss.
This whole episode is just one big nostalgia throw back. The 90s were so RAD
And bodacious!
Yesss!
Totally!
Definitely❤
Sweeeet
Hold the phone!!!! My Easy Bake oven just dinged and I need to feed my Sea Monkies! 😅😂😂
I still sell sea monkeys
I have a paper pouch of Sea Monkeys. I should make a bowl of water for them
😂😂😂
Which phone? The clear or the lips?
Not me realizing how much my Polly pockets could be worth 🧐
As a child of the 60s/70s I missed this craziness! Light Bright and Etch-a-Sketch were my creative outlets!
What about Creepy Crawlers?? Got burned plenty times but who cares?? Wouldn't be able to have them now! When I was like 5 back in early 60s I had a REAL STOVE that the stove eyes would get hot so would the oven! Mom had to buy me small aluminum pots and pans the plastic ones would melt 😢
Hours and hours of arty fun. Until someone stepped on a lite brite peg. Not as bad as lego, but still bad.
I loved when Furbies interacted with each other. Ahhh ahhhh 😆
Those of us who were old enough to remember the 1984 movie "Gremlins" thought Furby looked a little to much like Gizmo. We used to freak the kids out by saying, "Don't let him get wet." 🤣🤣🤣
I had an actual Gizmo edition furby!
My dad used to say that to me all the time. 😂😂
Yes lol! It looked like Gizmo!
Fact! 😂
As a kid, someone told me what it was and I said nahhh... that's a Gremlin!
Then they had it "perform" for me...
So creepy!
You keep dat! 😂
I hated furbies because i associated it with gizmo, way too much responsibility and chaos as a child i thought 😂😂
No one talking about how Bailey got sponsored by SKIMS!?😍😍 yasss girl! So proud of
but no discount code wahhh
FOR REAL THOUGH!!! YAS MISS B!!!
Right?!? Like that's so exciting!!
NO FR!! I ACTUALLY GOT HAPPY ABOUT ONE OF HER ADDS😭😭🥹🫶🏼
I literally said out loud "shut the f*ck up" 😂 yasss Bailey 🙌🏻
As an Irish person I’m so happy you are covering the Magdalene Laundries. 😪🙏🏻 thank you. I never thought my little country would get an episode on Dark History, and giirrllll let me tell you, there is a lot 🫢💕
Sure is. How about the dark side of what Lord Mountbatten and his ilk were doing in Ireland. The real reason he was executed. It’s as dark as it gets.
Clair Keegan wrote a book called Small Things Like These which is about the laundries and forgotten women. It takes place at Christmastime and the book is excellent.
Oh man, the furby snore noise really reminded me of the time my furby started waking up and trying to go to sleep at 3am even though it had dead batteries in the back of my wardrobe for the last four years... I was so stressed out because I couldn't get it to be quiet that I had to put it outside.
I threw mine away for doing the same thing after its batteries were taken out 😬
In 3rd grade I had a teacher named Mrs.Cup and she had huge shelves full of beanie babies and every day you could keep one on your desk with you. I miss her.
I had a 3rd grade teacher who'd give you a beanie baby, If you scored well on a test or project. She had an entire closet full of them and school supplies. This was around 2006 in WI, no clue what her name is, but I'll never forget her. ❤
@@dshoultz6110”i’ll never forget her but i forgot her name” is so me loll
That’s sweet ❤
Very cool😊
She sounds awesome!❤
I can’t stop staring at Bailey’s fuzzy scrunchie. It’s so cute!
Yea it is cute
I thought the same! Trying to figure out if I can get away with it, also. I’ll be 70 this Summer. Styling with long grey & white hair! Hum…🇨🇦
@moniquerobinson5206 go for it! We can do what we feel comfortable with. Your hair sounds fantastic!❤
Me too!!!! I want one!!
@@moniquerobinson5206my Dad will be 70 this summer too! Happy early birthday! Go for it! I think you can totally rock that look! 💕
This was such a fun dark history lesson ! Joan slays again, props to her style team 🫡🏆💕
I miss the 90s. I was just watching 90s cartoons and this popped up. Perfect timing ❤
The Elmo voice was actually really impressive 😂😂
Right??? 😅
I hated it
Y’all remember those clear phones with the colorful wires?!? Ugh the 90s were the BEST.
Landline. LOL
I always wanted one of those!
VTech phones
Yes those were legit! 😂
It would light up when it rang 😂
This one really took me back to my childhood! 😢 ❤ I learned so much about who was really behind the toy scene in the 90s. The 90s was one huge multicoloured adventure for the toy industry, there hadn't been such a toy boom and frenzy before. I mean the 80s also had their beloved toys that people went crazy over but it really all came to a head in the 90s. We were inundated with flashy ads and 90s colours and everyone wanted every new thing. There were Dragon Flyz, Polly Pocket, Slinkys, My Little Pony (had one from the late 80s), TMNT, Barbie, the View Master was from decades before but it was still so popular in the 80s and 90s, not forgetting the brick game❤...I had a tamagotchi and when I left it at home and it died I cried for days. 😢 thanks for this episode Bailey❤
Bailey literally describing every black Friday these days😂 times have not changed. But you are doing them a huge service by advertising for them, for free!
Furbys are TEERRRIFYING to me. I had one growing up that ended up in the bottom of my toybox, untouched. Years later when I was clearing it out, the Furby spoke and scared the ever-loving soul out of my body lol
Exactly. My dad married his wife who's my stepmom. My step family which is my dad's wife's family. Anyways my step-grandparents which is my step mom's grandparents. Anyways I saw like back then when I was like maybe 13 or 14 or something like that I came to visit and they still had like these Furby things even though the 90s was over they had the Furbies above their TV stand you know like the old school TV in like one of those TV entertainment cabinets. Anyways the Furbies were creepy and I never liked them. And I thought it was creepy how you could walk by and it would talk to you and I didn't like that. Oh by the way if you care to know I'm at 33 years old now and I'll be 34 on August 17th I was born 1990. That'll give you a time era if you do the math of what year it was when I was like 13 or 14.
Yes! And the zoomies hamsters too 😅😅😅 ya know the ones that used to eat our hair!!! 😱
YEP I read nothing but the truth those demons talked with or without batteries
@@Katyahbib wow!
i had one as a kid that would turn on even without 🔋 and would sing *shooby dooby doo* at 3am😢
"That's not a bad idea cause they did vibrate." Took me out 🤣💀💯
Tickle ME, Elmo 😂
Now we gotta wonder what else is on that chair when Bailey gets all giggly 😂
i thought i hallucinated that. LOL
😂😂😂
Bailey cracks me up 😄
Teddy Ruxpin was great too! Reading stories and the eyes and mouth moved!
Oh, now that's the creepiest one for me! No thank you!
I love that you did a Beanie Babies Christmas tree-so did we. My sister and I spent all afternoon decorating it and two days later we changed our minds and put all our regular ornaments back in. We still have photos and it was a lot of fun. I was an avid collector, I had a guide book and every month we’d ask to get another beanie babies. We found rarer ones at yard sales and thrift stores and my mom collected the happy meal Teenie Beanie Babies from McDonald’s and they’re still in their packages. Wish it was still worth something-we could’ve used that money for college. We also had a Furby-it was gray and so creepy, but my grandmother really liked him so we let her have him. After she passed we sold him at a yard sale or donated him-can’t remember.
My kids are homeschooled and we did a whole topic on advertising tactics and then they wrote a persuasive essay and made their own commercial using tactics they researched. Learning how companies manipulate us was huge for them.
This is the type of education every child needs - REAL WORLD KNOWLEDGE
That sounds so fun! I'd take your class.
Thats amazing! I think all kids need that!
Wow. American public schools could never
This is FANTASTIC! 🙌 How old were they when you did this lesson? Is there a guide or did you make it yourself? I love this. Will you homeschool me 😅
I was obsessed with the "Jeweled Bellied Trolls", that was during the same time as the beanie babies and furbies, but the trolls granted wishes 😮 💎
Loveeed the trolls! The little nudists 😂
@backdoorsluts_9 I wanted to be one with rainbow hair, then black hair with vampire teeth and cat eyes lol I was a weird child
I loved my Trolls 😂
Treasure Trolls!
I lived for my trolls and treasure trolls❤❤❤
My husband was mad at me and pitched furby out the front door, he landed in some shrubbery. Couple weeks later I heard this plaintive cry. IT WAS FURBY CALLING FOR HELP! 😂 It rained at least once and weeks had passed - poor guy was rescued 🎉
i say this so seriously, i had a furby when i was a kid, and it was one that would develop a personality based on how you treat it. genuinely was one of the things that helped teach my little kid brain about empathy and consequences in a safe way that didn’t like affect my real life and didn’t involve me learning from actual embarrassing situations around friends lol
the way i still sleep with my beanie baby that is over 20 years old :-: so sweet. was in my crib when i came home from the hospital and it's still on my bed as we speak
i have the EXACT same thing going on, he was waiting in my crib for me to come home from the hospital and all. me and him just turned 29 in february and i still sleep with him in my bed every night hahaha cx
My grandson is 18 he had White Sox bb... his dad still has ❤😊
❤
Which Beanie tho? We must know
@@ojd88 sherbet!! 🥹 he had been.... through a lot.
I remember Beanie Babies being included in the happy meals when I worked at McDonalds in the 90s! The lines were so long!!! 😆
Yess I kept a purple one for the longest time
I worked there when they did this! I still have 3 of them still in packaging, but not worth anything!
Oh goodness, yes 😂😂😂😂
My mum lined up in the uk to buy the full set on the day they came out I think it cost her £8
I lost my Beanie Baby McDonalds toy lol
Core memory released: getting a fake tamagotchi from Aldi, friends making fun of me, me doing extra chores for money to get a real one, and by then they were done.
I had Patti, Pinchers, and Spot ❤
My mom recently got all my beanie babies out of storage… there were so many, she covered her 10 foot long dining room table in them 😳
I have no use for them so when my mom’s neighbor was going on a mission trip to Africa we knew she had to take them with her! They have since been donated to an orphanage, those beanies still bringing kids joy all these years later! ❤
I remember when Cabbage Patch Kids first came out in the 80s. I always wanted one and was low key devastated when my parents got me a Christmas Patch Kid (a knock off) instead. “You never got me a cabbage patch kid” became an inside joke as I got older between my mum and I. Then on my 40th birthday my dad got me one. 😂
We couldn't afford one either, but you could buy doll heads that looked exactly like the cabbage patch kids heads. My mom is an amazing seamstress, so she just made them for me. I had three - a little red headed girl, a brunette girl, and a little blonde boy. She made many outfits for them. I even had matching outfits with them. They were well loved!
😂 That is AWESOME!
Best mom ever❤
@@sarawilliams7999 same for my Grandma! She made all her grandkids one, me included!
This episode encompasses my entire childhood 😅My son found my Furby awhile back at my parents, & he made me put it at the top of his closet, facing the wall 😂
💯
I remember all these toys, growing up..never had a Furbe, they creeped me right up, but had the other ones. I also had a Nano Pet. It was a dog, when you connected to another, they could have a litter of pups! I was OBSESSED
45:28 idk if she says anything about this but Bailey please do the topic on Webkins PLEASEEEEEEE IT GOES WITH THIS SO PERFECTLY
I tried to get into my webkins account recently, but it had been deleted :( I literally collected those things. It was great! IF Bailey did an episode on that, it'd be peak nostalagia!
Tamagotchis are apparently back in with the whole 90s revival. I got all my nieces and nephews one for Christmas 👾
my 7yo son saw one while we were at the store the other day and after i explained it to him he wants one SO BAD. then asked if i would take care of it for him while he's at school 😂
Yeah I saw a baby Yoda one last holiday season. I was happily surprised.
The year Turning Red came out my daughter was all about them! She got one (a unicorn). It warmed my heart 🥰
WHAT?! I had GigaPets …miss them
Love this comment
My sister and I had HUGE tubs full of beanie babies (RIP to all the money my parents spent) and they sat untouched for years. When we were in high school my grandma (who was a social worker at the time) asked if she could have them to give to each new case she got and they absolutely loved them! I’m glad those kids got to enjoy them because now we all know that they were never going to be worth enough money to do anything with!
Have you seen the price of so.e of them? I'm assuming, and I could be wrong, you are being sarcastic?
This is actually so wholesome though
Aww that is so sweet! My mom saved all hers too & my daughter LOVES them! They never go out of style. ❤
Got my tamogachi and my furby both at FAO in NYC. Man you brought back so many memories!!
Your whole beanie babies' storytime was my childhood. From the heart tag protectors to the plastic display case. My mother still has our whole collection. 😆
The Cabbage Patch Kid dolls caused that crazy chaos too!
I wanted one so bad! By the time my aunt was able to find one for me, I had outgrown dolls. I was still happy to have her. Her name was Sally Cassie. 😅
Ahhhh.... the 80's 🥰 I was there for that one too!
I had one when I was like 6 and named her Junior on her birth certificate
Same and I named the Premie Junior and the first doll I named Nancy which was the mom,idk lol goodtimes!!
Never was a Beanie baby fan, bc I was too old for that
there’s no way. my mouth dropped when i saw the princess diana beanie baby bc I HAVE IT, i didn’t know it was in memory of her. i bought it at a thrift store 😭💕
Have you had a look at how much theyer worth?
They sell for about 45000 right now
I also have one, with the tag protected.. but I was under the impression that it was wasn’t worth much these days. Hearing otherwise is a nice surprise.
I am under the impression that yes, they're listed for that much but there is no market and there are no buyers.
The craziest thing of all is I've had THREE in my life time! Twice as a child and once when i also found one at a thrift store and got out for my kids but they never played with it so i donated it back to the thrift 😮
You are my absolute favorite UA-camr Bailey ❤I genuinely feel happier when I listen to you
I hope you know how much we love you Bailey! You seriously make my day!
My grandma had to babysit mine and my aunts tamagotchis when I went to school and she went to work.. gran didn’t ask for this added hinderance to her day but she never complained and my tamagotchis never died. We gave her our furbies for one day and she refused to have them ever again because they wouldn’t stop telling her they were hungry 🤣
That is hilarious 😂
@@tashadiekan me and my aunt always joke that us making gran take part in our games is what’s kept her memory so sharp. She’s almost 70 and still very mentally independent. I might buy her a tamagotchi for Mother’s Day 🤣
I did that, when my kids were in school I took care of those things at my desk work😂
😂😂😂
Girl, you've got to do the dark history of Cabbage Patch Dolls and the "hospital" where they're "born".😂
I watched a “birth” of one… very odd
Traumatised
Furbies and Gremlins- I lived through this craze! I have no clue where they went.😂😂😂
Thank you Bailey for all the time and effort you put into making these videos. It means alot that i have a place to go to watch my favorite show. Your so informative its Really interesting just keep being you, you're such a unique person so creative your incredible 😊
When I went to Paris I saw where Princess Diana died and at the top of tunnel is a memorial of sorts. Low and behold there is a Princess Diana Beannie Baby.
❤
That’s impressive. Those are worth so much I’m surprised no one has stolen it. That gives me a little more faith in humanity lol.
My grandma immediately bought that bear and we had to put in on a shelf, with a tag protector and no touchies 😂
They are the only one worth anything. And even then it’s not much….not retirement much.
90's kids are loving the nostalgia.
Are we not going to address the fact that Bailey could be a voice actor. Her Elmo voice, baby cries, and other voice impressions 😮
This is my favorite dark history because I loved all of this!! Beanie baby mania!!
This is why I'm always so polite when I talk to my Google home device... if the robots take over, they will remember my manners and have mercy on me 😂
Me too!!! I say please to siri 🤣
I was on vacation with my friend in LA and we were on the freeway and lost. She cussed out her Siri and it said “that wasn’t nice “ and wouldn’t give any more directions!!
I do the same thing! 😅😅
I was super obsessed with beanie babies as a kid! I also had a furby. My dad paid a coworker $100 to get one (I have no clue where the coworker scored it) my mom got so sick of the Furby constantly talking that she took the batteries out and put it in the basement on a shelf. It STILL TALKED 😮😅
Mine did too!! My sister and I were afraid of it because even with the batteries out it still wouldn’t shut up 😂😂
@@emyraneterrifying 😮😅
Whaaaaat!? 😅
i’ve been watching you for years and never thought you’d shout out moval 💗
Do you have a video of the dark history of Christmas? I’m binging all your videos to catch up on the ones I’ve missed. I remember when you first started doing stories and I loved your videos of you doing your moms makeup you both are great 💕
I’m struggling bad mentally and I really needed this video today. Thank you
Bailey is the best❤ hope your day got better
💜💜 can relate. Hang in there 💜💜
Oh my goodness, when you mentioned your mom having a bin of happy meal beanie babies, it reminded me, my great grandma, she has about 5 big storage bins FILLED TO THE BRIM with every single type of mcdonalds happy meal toys you could ever think of, and she is still collecting them!
One time our stove caught on fire and when the fire fighters were going in my mom said “SAVE THE BEANIE BABIES”!!! 😅 We had a big stand full of them 😂
my 20 year old sister makes long furbies. im 32 and they terrify me 😂 it’s so wild she wasn’t even born when i was 7 and obsessed with/scared of mine, yet she is gravitating to one now in the 2020s!
The amount of money my poor love struck high school boyfriend spent on beanie babies to “prove he loved me” was insane. Of course I had the princess Diana bear, the millennial bear, all the McDonald’s bears, and so so so many more😂
Nothing could eclipse the Cabbage Patch War of the 80s.
Yes!!!
Well done Bailey. This was a fun one. The subject matter really suited you and your presentation :)
I had a huge beanie baby collection, a few tamagochis and a furby! This brought back so many memories.
I was a B.B. collector. I still look at them. Yes, they are safe. Great upload, Bailey. 🧡🧡🩷🩷🩵🩵✌🏾
I was born in 83 and I was absolutely obsessed with Rainbow Brite dolls, the big Cricket doll, my micro bake and my Lite Brite!! I loved those toys and I have so many cute pictures of me on the Christmases that I got them. Last Christmas I actually found a new model Lite Brite. I was so pumped I bought 3 extra boxes of lite Brite pegs hoping I could bribe my 12 year old son to play with me. But that was a no go. So I just played with it by myself between cooking turkey dinner and cleaning up all the Christmas mess that comes with 3 sons. Yes I'm 40 but who wouldn't want to play with one of their favorite childhood toys?? So yeah, I guess you could say I bought it for myself 😂 I'm loving this episode Bailey!!
I absolutely loved Cricket 😭😭😭
@@coryshann me too!! I still have mine packed away. I had hoped to have a daughter to pass it onto one day but I was blessed with 3 sons instead. You never know maybe one day ill have a granddaughter to give it to 😂
Born in 81. In my kindergarten yearbook I said I wanted to be Rainbow Brite when I grew up 😄 I also bought my kids the new light brites! And yes, I play with them more than my kids 😂 They are so much more safe now!!!
I was an 83 baby too. I was obsessed with “My Buddy”
i need to buy myself a Lite Brite. i would sit up in my attic for hours playing with it. never heard of Cricket tho? i was born 86.
her laugh was so amazing i love it
Not Bailey talking about the Princess Diana beanie baby and a furby while I literally still have both🤣
Despite this: My memories of my husband rolling up to a Hallmark store every Monday in his tow truck (including arguing with his boss to do it) and his ability to remember all I have and therefore knowing what I loved and still needed. RIP hubbs, I will keep them all forever 💜
😊😊😊😢
I never had either toy but I do remember the mania that was around the Furby and the Beanie Babies. The 90s & early 2000s sure were iconic 😂
Every Monday I wait for the videos you post. Even if you don’t do the theme song I end up doing it😂 idk why but I love it. I love you and your videos you make me laugh every time and I love the fact that you go to the trouble to tell us these. Keep doing what you do you’re beautiful and amazing!! Love you Bailey😊❤️
Love the Moval shoutout! Our mall has definitely seen better days though lol.
I had the robodog. It was cool for an hour then it sat in my room collecting dust I hardly played with it after that hour. You weren't missing much with that one!
I remember at a slumber party the host had a robodog but another girl hogged it all night long and when she finally said I could play with it the dog was too tired to play anymore and went to sleep 😭
i wanted a Robodog after Janet Jackson had one in her music video 😂
OKAY BAILEY WITH THE SKIMS AD. POP OFF GIRLY
Wild, the Elmo craze was nuts but not as bad as the Cabbage Patch Kids. I remember the crowds being insane.
i would love to see a dark history on the history of ballet, jazz dance or dance in general! it’s actually really interesting when you look into it
That OJ / Elmo line made me snort!🤣🤣
I had a Spot the dog and the FIRST thing I did was take off the tag 😂
I'm surprised Trolls weren't on the list! Kids at my school were totally obsessed with them
Meet too!!! Same with my purple Popple😂😂
When are you gonna do the dark history about tea? 🫖 literally love you so much!!! 🫶🏾🫶🏾🖤🖤🖤
I just love your topics 😄💯
My Newest Wish is for Bailey's follow up episode discussing people's crazy experiences with their Furbys! Love you, Girl, and your little Crow too!💜
I worked for Toys R Us during the ‘98 Christmas Furby craze. On Christmas Eve a mom came in and asked for a Furby. I told her I didn’t have any in stock. She screamed at me, “You’re the reason my kid won’t believe in Santa!’ I was stunned.
What if you are the reason 😂
That is hilarious and so 90's for some reason.
I would have cried
LMBO😂😂😂
What town was that in?
I have a huge bin with all my beanie babies with those clear heart tags 😂
Why did you do that Elmo voice so well!! 😮😂
FAVORITE Dark History episode, because we all get to reminisce about how WILD the 90's were!! Moving out of the 80's was rough girl. 🤣 Bailey, do you remember the Talking Nanos??! Giga Pet upgrade, they were amazing.
I’m Irish and I’ve been hoping you would do an episode on the Magdalene laundries for so long!! I’m so glad more people around the world will get to learn about those horrendous places
I just watch The Woman in the Wall and started researching. It’s terribly sad and absolutely terrifying what happened!!
Yes I second this! Truely horrifying 😢
Is there a video? All I found was the podcast on the Magdalena laundry
I was terrified of Furbys 😅😅😂😂
But I remember wanting one of those diaries you could type on😂
I worked for McDonald's, in a mall, the 2nd yr of the McDonald's x Beanie Baby promo. It was a crazy time. Ppl were lying and saying they didn't get their toy in the box, when we spent time pre-packing stacks of boxes. My boss made signs saying to check your box at the counter, bc we are not giving out any once you leave the counter. There were all sorts of crazy happenings during that promo. Fun times, lol.
OK NO I used to have a tickle me Elmo that used to go off by itself in the closet it was stored in 🥴🥴🥴 thanks for unlocking nightmares, Bailey 😂❤️
Having been born in the 80's and raised in the 90's- I DON'T THINK I'VE EVER BEEN THIS EXCITED ABOUT A VIDEO!
Gotta get my snacks ready!
My household was that household where there were totes of beanie babies that no one was allowed to touch and in total my mom, younger sister and myself had 18 furbies. Those things were terrifying! They would randomly go off, move, "yum" when no one was anywhere near them (even burried in the closet) and don't get me started on their santanic rituals when they were dying lol
Thank you so much for this freaking video!
K gotta get situated and start watching!
❤
Bailey. I love your dark history segments. You should do a dark history of nursery rhymes and/or fairy tales. Please 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Girrrrl I was obsessed with them growing up! Had every single one including the princess Dianna purple bear lol 😂
At 61 years old I still have the Bride and Groom Beanie Babies. I gave away 100's of Beanie Babies about 10 years ago. Of course, they were all retired ones. 😂😂😂
So many memories unlocked, my brother taking the batteries out of my furby as it was driving him crazy, and then finding my mum packing a parcel, when a voice in the box says ''Ah, me scared!" I was so upset that mum was selling my furby on eBay 😂
The first water cup before the Stanley you mentioned think those are in the back of everyone's kitchen cabinets collecting dust unfortunately 😹
Girl yes get that bag! SKIMS?! Woo!
I think this is my favorite video ever! This was my childhood!
I am surprised that you didn’t touch that Hasbro had a scandal because Furbies strongly resembled Gizmo from Gremlins
i had no idea patty was so old! she was my grandmothers and i love her
1:06:00 😂😂 the Furby snake-worm is the most hilarious and disturbing thing I’ve seen on the internet! 🫣 I deadass almost choked on my lunch break 🤣
