Im sure their going to make that a 4 lane highway. Its obvious by the size they are widening it. If there was a concern about rocks falling they would put wire cage oround them ( minimal cost ) concidering the billions being spent.
Be thankful you do not have to drive on 11/17 every time you or your family leaves the house. . It has got so bad here near Nipigon ( highway 11north) that we do t want our kids to come visit as they may be killed by a new Canadian…. It’s sad but true😞

To Josh: In the Netherlands the truckers usually have a coffeemaker in the truck. I'd advice that, then you can have coffee anywhere you want!
That is pretty much normal anywhere in Europe, but US and Canadian truckers would rather spend their money on overpriced gas station/truck stop coffee, which is more of a coffee soup than an actual coffee.
We want good coffee. Not something that tastes like it was drained out of the airtanks of our truck. Besides it gives us a few minutes to get out of the truck and stretch our legs and check the truck. You do you.
I prefer to buy mine. It gives me an excuse to get out of the truck and move. How much does coffee cost over there? I don't have room for a coffee maker and it's not worth the investment. I'll just buy mine ☕️ It's much better than anything I make myself
@@Trucker_Josh Coffee is probably a tad more expensive but the quality is higher. For Dutch truckers, it's a matter of efficiency and taste. I've been in Canada and the US, and can definitely say the coffee is bad in comparison to a nice "home brew". Like the comment above said, it tased more like coffee soup then coffee haha. Edit: A small coffeemaker for one is not a large investment and if a EU trucker can have one, you definitely have room in that Kenny ;)

Hallow contracting from Thunder Bay is blasting the right of way to allow for safer traffic flow
The first company that I went with my dad on the road they only had 11 trucks so their yard wasn’t very big and it was a gravel yard and some of the potholes there. The CB in the truck would hit me in the head as we were driving out of the yard with the trailer on, yeah the mic were from the CB were literally swing from the ceiling and hit me in the head. That’s how bad the bumps were in the yard.
Josh perhaps you should consider just making your own coffee in the truck 👍
Beautiful country on hwy 622...I traveled many times down that road to camp at turtle river... I have some friends in atikokan... nice to see you experienced that hwy... watch out for moose 🫎 or bears 🐻..

DriveWyze is only in Ontario and Alberta. No other jurisdictions in Canada run it. Some US States also don't participate. NY State, Michigan (Michigan is mobile anyways)
Yes there is a language barrier. And not only that different cultures do think differently than we do in the Western hemisphere. So yes, there is that full stop barrier mentality sometimes ive noticed.
Make sure you can pull in that Parking spot josh instead of backing up which I noticed you don't like to do😊

Josh, my all-time favorite is giving a clerk $11 for a $6 purchase. I've seen actual smoke rising from their ears trying to calculate $5 in change.

My favorite is people into a bank to get change and hand the teller a $20 asking for 2 $5s and a $10 I ask for 2 $10s and a $5 and watch them freeze like a deer in the headlights.

It looks like they are twinning it, If they were worried about a rock slide, they would have steel fence nets on the sides of the rock wall I was on 2 lane roads in New Brunswick, I had to look out for Moncton missles. Then had to find a shoulder wide enough so i can get into and they could jut pass me on by. The ones who insisted on tailgating me, got the slow treatment until i could find a wider shoulder.
Well, hopefully they don’t freeze they shouldn’t freezer up in Canada fully
