Big move by Oklahoma State. Taylor immediately will compete with Cael for national recruits, probably the only man who could do so to be honest. This guy will very likely be the Coach of OSU for the next 20+ years. It's just a wonderful fit.
Not taking anything away from David he will do a great job. But the AD has no honor they basically screwed over Coleman Scott after dangling the Head Coaching job in front of him to leave UNC they gave him the boot.
While I agree the way things with Coleman was handled was poor, when a donor comes forward and offers you 35 million only if you hire David Taylor, you have to take that option. 35 million changes the entire landscape for OSU wrestling for the better. Also, most past cowboy wrestlers have said David Taylor was the best choice between the two.
At the end of the day, you go with the very best option available and Scott just isn't that. Especially when you have a guy with Taylor's resume lined up.

OSU definitely pulled out the stops on this one. Good for them. I am sure David will be successful and will be a huge draw for the program.
