Dude, Chester is probably one of the great rock n' roll singers of today. He reminds me of Scott Weiland, Axl Rose, Kevin Martin (Candlebox) etc. He possesses that classic hard rock appeal. Am I wrong?
I love the grunge-y character the band's songs have. And Chester should not by any means be constricted only to Linkin Park. He is most loyal to that band, contributes the most to it; but the man is amazingly talented and if there's stalent and art he can contribute elsewhere then why not? DBS is quite different to LP, and I enjoy listening to both.

Dead By Sunrise started as just Chester, and a few of his buds from Julien-K helping him record his own, original ideas. Quickly it evolved into a miniband side-project. Dead By Sunrise's songs are written 100% by Chester, based off of his own life and personal experience.
6 months ago this was like my favourite song at the time. for weeks i never stoppped listening to it. then i eventually stopped listening to it. this feels really strange listening to it again. its still an amazing song!! ♥
It'snot as heavyas Chester had promsed, poems are really teenage thigs, bleive me, I found LP when I was 21 ad lyrics grow up y me, but these ones...just remind me of my teenage struggles lik 10 years ago when I was 14
Hearing Chester live is pure perfection. Probably one of my least favorite songs on the album, though. Great album for the most part. Definitely nothing like LP, so it's cool to hear a different version of Chester's voice. Something similar to Grey Daze.
I think if as an artist he wants to expand out and do things outisde of the confines of Linkin Park, he should be able to do that. He doesn't need to be in Linkin Park to make good music, that man is amazingly talented and this just shows that he can do way more then just Linkin Park. Besides, nobody complained when Mike was doing music with Fort Minor >.>
@HeavySandvichGuy1 He didn't leave Fort Minor, it's just that they don't have any projects to work on at the moment, but Mike never said he's not a member of Fort Minor anymore. I mean, after all he's a founding member so it would sound a bit odd to hear him say he wants to stop working on that and focus on the other projects.
well its because most of the members are already from very famous bands so fans would pretty much like there music just like that even be4 they release there first album DBS rock!!!!!!!!!
well, they played live, didnt they?? its not often that you see an artist go on live tv and perform with out a backing track or something that, so give them credit for that, DBS rules!!!
