Ordered this, I hope the watch is everything I read is true. I am new to to the watch world and so far I am enjoying the trip. In terms of style I seem to be leaning toward field watches. Thank you for the info on the use of a NATO strap with this watch. Where can I get a strap like the one you used in your video?
Now that's a looker , for sure . Been going off complicated chronos recently ,beginning to appreciate the simpler plain uncluttered faced watches .Love the ecos , have several. Great review👍
Yeah the ECCO leather lotion really works a treat on the strap. I gave it a few generous applications and worked it well into the leather. The lotion is neutral in colour; however, it does darken the leather a little. Personally I think it gives the strap a very cool weathered look. It compliments the retro feel of the watch really well. The strap is now very pliable and extremely comfortable to wear. I recommend reapplying the lotion as the leather dries out. If you go swimming with the watch on. Rinse the strap off with fresh water and let it dry out before applying the lotion. This is really important if you're swimming in the sea. Salt and leather don't mix well. This watch is my go-to daily driver. It's also generated loads of comments. Everyone remarks on how good it looks. It's a real eye catching classic. No bling needed! That's what I call class. ⌚😁
I still need to treat the strap, I do have this on another strap at the moment. I saw a few other channels pick up this watch since and I think it is growing in popularity. We were just ahead of the game ;-) Thanks for watching!
I picked mine up a few weeks ago, a black dial on a black leather strap (22mm). I can't fault it, the leather strap took a few days to really break in but, the titanium case makes it feel so light. I've been pretty impressed with it.
I have a Citizen BM6400, a 42mm watch with an almost identical dial, 200m water resistance and a screw down crown. These watches are total strap monsters, I wear mine on a Bond NATO, vintage leather similar to yours and if you want a really comfortable strap, try a Barton Silicone. Mine lives on this the most. 14 years old and still going strong. If it ever packs up I'll get the Citizen Super tough Titanium. Nice review, I've looked at this one myself but I'm not a fan of day date complications.
06:06 Duratect is Citizen's proprietary surface hardening technology. They create Super-Titanium with this process. Apparently, its harder and more durable than untreated titanium.
Wish they'd do sapphire crystals more... this one looks great but my other citizens mineral glass always seem to get a scratch no matter how careful I am.
I've been tempted buy the citizen field watches over the years. Blue or Green dial are both nice love the features and simplicity Edit: now that I think about it I'm missing a green dial watch in the collection hmmmmm..
Green dial, leather strap is classy with the right outfit. I am trying to look for a couple of more green dials for my collection. Thanks for watching!
It does not need a battery it is charged by light so just leave it on a window sill for a day to full charge it and it will go 6 months in the dark. Thanks for watching!
I bounce between a couple automatic divers... but that may be my retirement watch in a few years. Was thinking of a Hamilton, though this one will probably win out.

I am going the other way.. New CITIZEN landed today for review and it has Chrono's. Are you my alter ego? Thanks for watching!

Got mine today, great field watch but the date/day are almost not readable, a pity; changed immediately the strap; I will love it!
Mine arrives any minute now 😎😎. I went for blue, the green looks really good though so hopefully I made a good choice
Duratect is a coating Citizen uses to protect the titanium. Citizen says it makes it more scratch resistant.
Thanks I didn't know that! Everyday is a learning day. Thanks for watching!

I know the BARTON brand. I really enjoy wearing this. Very casual but people do notice it on your wrist. Thanks for watching!

Hi. The watch is beautiful. Do you know how long the battery lasts? I know battery prices are quite expensive, so I wondered if it is worth it.

Oh you are killing me.
Buy it.... you know you want it! Thanks for watching!
I would really love if they made it california dial. Citizen hope you read this!
I second that CITIZEN! Thanks for watching!
California dial too iconic, not a citizen kind of thing😢😮. Just my opinion.
I bounce between a couple automatic divers... but that may be my retirement watch in a few years. Was thinking of a Hamilton, though this one will probably win out.
love it
Me too! you got one yet? Thanks for watching!
