My fucking heart!!! This band has evolved so much and in the best of ways. They have their heavy dark and disturbing songs, as well as more melodic tracks such as this and Take Me Away. They can do no wrong, no matter where on the spectrum. Landon is a fucking mastermind.

People complaining about it not being heavy, but like...did you listen to HISD? This is not a surprise at all. Even CYWYCB was significantly less heavy then First Born. Bands evolve. And let’s get one thing straight: this IS evolving, NOT devolving. Landon was born to write this kind of music and we are lucky to get the chance to hear it.

Daniel Varney. As a musician myself, you're absolutely right. Every band evolves, they have to. Music changes like every 2 to 4 years and if you don't keep up or come out original, you'll be forgotten very quickly. We may not always agree with their evolution, but it's a necessity. But this is actually decent, I like the new direction their taking.
You cant even be mad he still incorporates heavy but man has he ever matured! I jam the old stuff and the new stuff and love em both. Landon has a phenomenal clean and heavy voice!

Its so crazy how far Landon has come NEVER FORGET he was the guitarist for before their eyes and did backup vocals. It's so crazy how much this band has evolved and progressed since their first ep as " vessels " to their first album as " the plot in you ". I don't know what it is about this song but the hair on the back of my neck stands up whenever he sings I'm alive being somebody that constantly struggles with anxiety depression and suicide thoughts I have to constantly remind myself that I am alive. You can feel so much emotion and feeling into everything that was put into this song. well done Landon well done.

I saw Before Their Eyes perform when I was in high school (2010 ish i think?) When they were one of the bands that played prior to the main performance (which was Silverstein) does this mean he was the guitarist at that time? Either way, that's interesting to learn I'm glad he's done what he has. He's crazy talented and his lyrics are always fucking perfect.
