Wow, where did the time go? I was 15 when this album came out. I was going through a really dark time. I lost my brother to addiction and shortly after chose the wrong path myself. Between friends, drugs, relationships & any other difficult obstacles i surpassed, i always manage to come back to this album that has a soft spot in my soul❤
I lost my dad back in January. He was barely here in his last few days and this song was on repeat in my mind. In the end losing him wasn't what hurt the most. It was watching him lose himself and become a shell. I love this song. It reminds me of a horrible time in my life but leaves me with hope.
Jordan Chapin I lost my closest grandmother to ALS and dad to suicide shortly after. This song fit both of their situations so perfectly and was there for me when I felt no one else could be. Stay strong bud. I hope things have gotten easier for you.
+Kevin Starks we all love you both, live and love life for each precious moment we have it. stay strong and always know there's somebody somewhere who looks forward to seeing your smile. keep on pushing because there is always a light at the end of even the darkest path. ❤️

Showed my dad this song but the acoustic version. Originally to let him know how I felt after my cousin OD on my bday. But now I listen to it missing my dad. I lost him Feb 8th

+Andy Lichtenstein they're more likely to take the job if they enjoy the music. all the actors in my bands music video for Disruption, "skylines" enjoyed the music and liked being able to participate.
My grandma raised me since I was 4. I'm 30 now and she passed away August 26th, 2019. She was never disappointed. I went to jail, got expelled from school and ultimately joined the military. I've taken lives and she's always been my comfort. I'm so lost and I don't know what to do.

I feel your pain gf ❤️ losing both parents definitely isn’t easy, it’s one of the worst pains life can throw at you in existence.. My parents were addicts but they were also sick with cancer and other diseases so the drugs def didn’t help.. lost my mom at 12 years old in 2010 and then my dad at age 15 in 2013, he was doing so well for awhile but his illness went untreated and he succumbed. This song spoke volumes for me when my dad passed & still does. They hid their addiction from the family/ public and main illness that took their lives. I was an only child of the both of them but my dad had my two other siblings. Losing both parents at a young age even in the 20’s is a pain we wouldn’t wish on our worst enemies. Just know that the memories you cherish with them you will be able to claim those as only yours forever. Even the good and the bad. Hang in there ❤️🩹
I have struggled with depression on and off since I was 15, I'm 28 now, so I feel you. However, it wasn't a constant thing; I have had amazing years and events that right now I'm desperate to re-experience, but they can happen. Trust me
@@moongirl786 Understandable. Mine has been fairly consistent. As long as I can distract myself, I'm alright. The world is so negative. Might as well conform to it.

Made it through both parents either dying or running off. Made it through being bullied because I was traumatized. Made it through the military, made it through other traumatizing shit I can't even say. Nearly offed myself in 2010. Pay for that till this day. 20 years later.
