The most Beautiful dynamic analog transformer distortion unit - built to excite and enhance your music and audio!
These transformers were designed to boost / enhance the high mids so need to be equalised after they have been inserted into your audio tracks or buses (we use logic's i/o utility) by shelving the top end and boosting the fundamental - (or whatever low frequency feels good to you). In the video we used Eiosis eq (any good eq will do) to set the low end and tweak the filter knee - same with the high end. We then use the i/o utiliy to boost Into the transformers for more saturation and balance the output. As you can hear - you gain a ton of clarity and focus even at low saturation settings - it's a bit like turning the lights on. Audio just sounds a bit claggy and dull without it. You can of course achieve sublime analog distortion (yum!) to set fire to your samples / beats / basses / guitars / keys / vocals and whole mixes - but if you just want to introduce energy, clarity and analog 3d into all your mix elements - bounce out your stems .... and see what a difference this little dragon makes to your mixes.
