excuse for giving out weak liberal sentences 👍
Hi Michael, Concurrent sentences are issued in part, to make sure that if they appeal and win against one of their charges, then they will still have to serve time in prison. If you have 3 concurrent charges but beat 2 of them, then you still have to serve the third charge. Hope this helps.
@@Jcktheripper it does thanks
Justice working. He deserves to rot in jail
Let him ROT in prison.
what a cop out, should have been consecutive not concurrent.
48 Minimum was proportionate.
@@Spaceman-jk5fb for the first offence of murder it was a good start but the rest of the time for the other offences were a waste of time if he's going to serve that time along side the 48 years he should never get out.
I really think it's time to bring back capital punishment, this young lady has lost her life and he will serve about twelve years on average if he serves twenty two years he will be free to live the rest of his life, thier must be no doubt if so a death sentence is the right sentence
I'm glad justice is served but that is a poor consolation to the family.
Finally a good sentence in this country. Doesnt ever deserve to be released
Psycho killers like this guy don’t take the news of spending nearly 50 years in prison the way a normal person would. It’s part of what makes them so mental.
Take him down...
And don't bring him back up again EVER
Well done on the sentence and some peace for the family.
The sentence has to be this big as the ultimate deterrent cant have no marks shooting up pubs simple as that
Nice to see a lot of these high profile shooting sentences around Liverpool being so high.
Hopefully it'll serve as a deterrent across the whole of the country and other judges take note.
'he can go down'
It's about time we gave the great Ropemaker's of this country a welcome boost by placing a very large and regular order. Let's also have a referendum.
We all know it would be overwhelmingly in favour of capital punishment.
@@macducati2304 We don't know.
@@macducati2304I am very pro death penalty, but I wouldn't put money on that being the case!
48 years is still nothing that beautiful girl should have had them years. I think this is finally a good sentence. But they are few and far between. We need to be seeing this happen more for serious crimes. Rip elle
RIP Elle
So now we get to pay to keep him locked up forever 🙄
The judge really stuck it to him, 48 years...gets out on a monday.
Should have been the rope, but will settle for 48 years or 17,532 long days
Judge didn't hold back, good on him.
Well done a real judge with a set of balls, this doesn't bring the girl back, but it puts out a warning don't do the crime,as the time will be severe again well done judge, wish they were more of them, regards and rip to the young lady you will be sorely missed🙏
So he could be released at age 73. If released at age 73 he could reasonably expect to live another 10 years at liberty. This is unacceptable.
He will probably never be released. The chances of him surviving prison that long is unlikely, someone would get to him. Well whatever the outcome he has 48 years to reflect on what he has done.
It is most unlikely he will come out of prison, and if he does at 73, he is not likely to be a healthy and fit 73 year old.
At 73 his best years will be far behind him, imagine what that would do to some. Hopefully he will end it or be ended long before that so the tax payer can rejoice : )
He wont make it to 73
Connor will be use to Prison by then and not be able to cope with living outside.
Only wish it would bring Elle back to her family
A minimum of 48 years??!!! That's excessive he will get it knocked down on appeal for sure.
Thank you Judge
He will be so institutionalised after serving 48 years he probably wouldn’t want to come out 🙈
Well done that Judge 👏👏👏
Life should always mean life. Coming through the prison gates in a wooden overcoat
Good enjoy picking up soap
I use to like Zest.
Get him sentenced consecutively.
Sometimes I think we need the death sentence back.
James English will have him on in a few years telling him he’s actually a decent bloke.
Please don't forget the judge who sent Thomas cashman to prison for 42 years
Great sentencing by this judge.
About time we stopped these ludicrously low, derisory sentences for serious crimes. We need a lot more like this.
And FFS let’s start fixing a ‘life’ sentence at just that - and not the mandatory x15 years.
Nothing will bring Elle back but I hope her family and friends can derive some peace from this judgement.
use a piece and it's 30 minimum. I know I get peace from this judgement one less creep on the street
👏👏👏👏Well done judge,,, this sentence should be given to all who commit these crimes, given this sentence the rhys jones case should be looked at again though and mercers sentence should be increased
Some people should never be released IMO. This is one of them.
