This lecture looks at the conflation of traditions of Mary Magdalene as well as Scripture references to clarify who this “Apostle to the Apostles” was and was not. Special focus is given to the resurrection narrative in John’s Gospel.

The woman who anointed Jesus might have been Mary Magdalene. John's account might have been mixed up as he wrote his gospel in late 70AD way after all other gospels and accounts were written. Luke and Mark seems to be very accurate as Mark wrote some 10 years after the resurrection of Jesus.

Mary of Bethany and Mary of Magdala could have been the same person and I have figured how that could be true. I address this in the book I am writing.
You are wrong. I'm writing a book as well and you are completely wrong. MM was at the crucifixion and resurrection. M of Bethany could not be, her life was in grave danger. How do we know these are the only times? This is just a record written down, there were more certainly. As there were more healings. The 3 women are very important, because they did prophetic deeds. So go to an Episcopal Church, women are respected there. Then more Catholics might understand better. In JC Superstar she is never made out to be a prostitute, only suspected of that by the others.
