Love the symbolism in the comforters. Shin's boldly colored geometric design, signally clear direction and purpose (he knows what he wants and goes after it) while Minato is covered in soft pastels of spring blooms, signaling the regeneration of life ( Minato's barely controllable awakening response).
It might seem silly to some but as someone who recently turned 30 I can 100 % relate to Minato every time he refers to himself as "old man" lol
