am i the only one who felt that minato rejecting shin up till now is the right decision? clearly he hasnt moved on from sensei, there wasnt a closure bc after that kiss he gave to sensei it seems like he didnt directly tell sensei about his feelings until 10 years later. i felt that if minato was to accept shin just like that when he clearly hasnt move on from sensei it wouldnt be fair for shin, i m just super glad he got to tell sensei how he feels! cant wait for the next ep 🫶🏻
You are right. I thought the same. I understand why people are upset about shin and Akira not getting together.I don't want them to get together at this point of time of their lives. It would be nice if shin goes to college and pursues his dreams and come back to see if he still loves akira . I still find shin underage and I'm glad they didn't kiss yet. Akira should sort out his feelings for sensei and only then their relationship would make sense

This scene really broke my heart
Akira confessed his love for his teacher twice n got rejected twice in a row which is really heart breaking. But this time Shin is there to comfort him. I m feeling both sad n happy at the same time after watching the preview of episode 11 where Shin got chance to date Akira in Tokyo but at the same time he told him that he won't be seeing him any more😭😭😭 Is there no happy ending for Shin n Akira??😢😢😢

Shin's self confidence is enviable, but the writers certainly failed in giving his character self respect. If Akira is this heartbroken after 2 rejections, how are we supposed to believe there is hope for these two when Shin has been repeatedly rejected by Akira in every episode? It isn't drawing me in anymore - I've lost interest in what really happens to them because the writers have just dragged us along the shoreline for the entire show: at this point, Shin deserves much more than he'll get from this relationship - even a 'friendship' is one-sided. If Shin was not so persistent, Akira will be alone and lonely for the rest of his life. After the walk on the beach, Shin should have kept walking.

Your comment doesn’t make much sense. Why does Akira being heartbroken mean Shin has to be just as heartbroken in the same way? They both are, and handled it differently.
Minato has said in ep 1 that shin is exactly his type and that he made his heart flutter..even gets nervous around him and in ep 2 when he was taking care of shin cuz he got heatstroke and while tapping shins neck with the cold towel he saw Shin look at him and Minato ran outside and just hold his heart because it was beating so fast so here you can see Minato also likes Shin but he's holding back his true feelings because shins underage and stuff but in ep 7 shin had his bday and is 18 now, basically an young adult. Minato is in his late 20's. They have so much chemistry and in last so you can see how Minato cried at Shins letter and just ran to him and confessed his love for Shin. In my opinion this bl series is absolutely an Masterpiece and just filled with so many different beautiful, deep emotions ❤️

Let's be honest here, if this was a straight relationship and Akira was the girl, we would have wished her to move on already and stop being desperate. At the same time, if Shin was a girl, we would have rushed to claim she was using him to make herself feel better. We would have already claimed he was the friendzoned backup.
The writers here are dragging it too long for a story plotline that should have arched a long time ago

Akira's playing hard to get was okay for several episodes, but it didn't has to keep going onto ep10 too. I anticipated they will be together at least in ep10. Now i feel like waste of time.

He’s not playing hard to get: he did turn him down for various reasons. Their dynamic also echos a lot of relationships gay men with age gaps have as well. Shin is still a high schooler so the hesitancy is very normal.

Personally i love to watch japanese and Korean bl, they are very well organised, not too much episodes but storyline and screenplay is great.

@@김리야-z5k I do agree I’m enjoying Japanese and Korean BLs a lot. Japanese slightly more, but the Korean ones this year have been great. I’m excited do the future of both countries BLs, because I do think they have stronger and more realistic stories but are still cute.
Akira was doing that cuz shin was underage..Shins had his birthday in ep 7 and is 18 now, so basically an young adult..and Akira is in his late 20's in ep 12 Akira confessed to Shin and their moment in the last ep was amazing ❤️✨
I discovered this series just few days ago from EP1 till 10 I waited see them together but I don’t think they are gonna have a happy ending🫤 I’d say the writer dragged Akra’s lines like a confused 🐢 for no reason!!
