I like analysis' of the race from the athlete approach of the channel. I am not aware of any other track athlete presenting extensive analysis of training and racing.
Most of them…
Nick symmonds, sage canaday, new gen t&f, just to name a few. You must be new here.
If I was in that race and saw you jog off the track like that, I'm going to be a bit nervous racing you again lol
Awesome. Thanks for sharing man. Heavily rooting for you bro.
Time to get that W
“Execute” Counter: 5 (in the span of a minute)
Isaac Basten, Dark horse to make the team
Fascinating account of the prelims. Semi finals often harder than the final? Qualification can be very tough. Looking forward to your analysis of it all. Good luck!
Great job in semis!
rip
I liked watching the LA '84 Olympics four rounds in the men's 800 on August 3, 4, 5, and 6 with the gold medal a 1:43.00. (In '88 there were four rounds, too.)
Cooper in the 1500 could be dangerous
I hope so 🤞
What do you mean could be he’s the favorite to win now that hocker is out
Question¿ what was/lead you to running and does it play a role day to day life?
running IS his day to day life
@@michaelarz277 but how does it affect it because his way of running is probably way different from my day to day
Wow
Hey Clayton I’m running in this Cleveland mile on July 23 , hopefully I’ll see you there!!
Do you like the streakflys? Do they feel like they give you energy back when you are running in them? And are the shoes durable? Love your videos bro
As someone who’s trained and raced in both the Streakflys and next%, don’t get them unless you can’t afford next%. That for you are going to be doing more speed work, but at that point dragonflys are the way to go. They feel way too soft and have very little responsiveness. Don’t take my word for it though, try them if you can. If you’re tight on money and have to choose between shoes, they aren’t the ones.
@@tylerstogsdill I agree, plus the plate in the next% save the legs so much afterwards so you don't tear your legs up as much
What about for xc would the streakflys be a good choice over the alphaflys?
@@joe1877 the Streakflys are 100% better than the alpha flys for xc, but the next% are in another league. As well as, for grass courses I use my dragonflys. Anything hard packed? Next%
@@tylerstogsdill what about a coarse that has dirt, road, and grass what shoe are you using next % or streakflys?
Really cool on the in depth analysis on the race, mindset, and overall meet at USAs. Kind of how Draymond Green recorded Podcast’s that were post game evaluations on performance during the recent NBA Finals.
Honest question: It's freaking 2022 - why are you all forced to still wear those dumb monster billboards on your chest?
We know who you are. And there has to be a more comfortable way to do this.
They aren’t uncomfortable. It’s easier for commentators and fans that are there to recognize runners that aren’t household names. It’s not a problem at all.
Needs sweet uniforms like the NFL but specially and specifically designed for track. Memorable, distinguishable and beautiful. Can have a number for that lane for that race. Each athlete brings 9 jerseys. That’ll work
@@yogitagosavi6600 huh?
I like your video format of not incorporating a lot of trivial BS and getting to the point of your vid. Lesser competitors put more mindless content in their vids.
So cool to hear about the race in such depth straight from the man that’s actually out there running it. Love this channel, really helps fans connect with you guys
I bought membership but not work
Excellent video of your workout!
Supreme Clayton!
Eric Sowinski, Eric Holt
Goodluck for final!
HOGGG RIDAAA
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
How to breathe while running 800 and 1500
In and then out
imo nico young is a dark horse to make the team in the 5k as he will probably be upset to not win the ncaa 5k. Also how do you feel about Sha’Carri not making the final
5k is too stacked even if abdi makes it it’ll be an upset
@@matthiasngo2190 I agree Nico is just a dark horse
Does anyone know wether the streakflys are a better buy than the alphaflys for xc?
i’m ready to see Cade Flatt pit up a good fight
I hear that Clayton Murphy is a canny runner....I think he'll take the 800!👍🦾🏃❤
