- So I'm finally done with this... I was afraid that someone else would transcribe this before I did after I saw how fast some of the peeps transcribed the other songs from Animenz' stream but it seems I'm the first to do Unravel^^
I started transcribing this right after the livestream and it was not too hard though the left hand at some parts was spaghetti (like at 2:49 or 4:04) so I kinda had to guess what Animenz meant to play but I think this is as accurate as it gets, also spent a lot of time on the dynamics, pedaling and tempo changes (still not satisfied tho^^')
I was actually technically done with this this yesterday and thought the hardest part would be over but not only did my perfectionism make me change the dynamics and re-render stuff over and over again but there was also some fishy stuff going on with the tempo of the audio and the midi file which was somehow not perfectly synced and I just couldn't fix it, even after hours of pain and re-rendering.
The first time I rendered the audio file was 12 hours ago. See that thumbnail? That was me for the past 8 hours.
I eventually kinda fixed it though I guess.
Anyway, I'm done now.
The livestream was amazing and I would transcribe more from it but most of it has already been transcribed by other people and I still have other projects to finish.
Ah, and I have school. Should really study more.

It's not a "better" version. It’s an alternate one which is also really good. He did change the apperiagos part completely into the original melody which is more accurate to the real song and simplified other sections for the sake of playing it on stream/live and making it easier for not as experienced players. Personally I like the original arrangement but I still really enjoy this slighty easier version.

Yee, it's not really "better" in terms of how it sounds, the original arrangement is just way too epic, but this version is a lot more forgiving in terms of playability, especially in the second half^^
The main priority he did was breaking down “the wall”, and this version sounds more detailed.
The wll is actually too hard, the right jumps which he simplified were the worst.
You basically had to make those jumps blind. And no matter how much you practice, you cannot make those jumps more than 80% of the time.
He omitted them because they were too difficult even for him and he couldn't take the chance to fudge it up on the anniversary stream.

The thing about this is version is that this is the more consistent arrangement for Animenz because he needs a less intense arrangement after playing for so long

-Better dynamics and rhythm to match the original song
-Sounds more clean by clearing out excessive notes
-Nerfed octave jumps to save your hands from potential injury

@@wils6694 I indeed didn't play this. I wish I were on that level cuz it would save me a lot of time. I created this tutorial by watching and listening to Animenz' performance very carefully and putting down each note into FL Studio, adjusting the velocity of the notes to get proper dynamics, adding pedal markings and adding tempo changes all manually by hand.

It took me so long to do the piano jumps. But I finally did it.
Everytime I listen to this, I'm wondering If Animenz did actually really play this part at 2:55 like your transciption because it seems a little impossible x)
(But it's really cool tho)
If you just see it as four block chords which are simply arpeggiated a little instead of some crazy downwards right hand run it already becomes way more possible^^
