Wow, after all that jazz funk goodness, track 3 is like swimming in silk or something. Fantastic album from Nucleus, once again. 1974 was a good year.
Think about this one : Alleycat came right after this, in 1975. HOLY SHIT! 😂💯

People Just Don't Get The Genius Off this music if it came out today with festivals they would be Huge.
The Jazz Rock Prog Fusion today was influenced by this Type of stuff 74 the Skill the Quality Amazing.
This is coming from an alternate universe, right?
No, just a nearby neighbor in the multiverse..
Genius Ian Carr!
I love this album. I bought the album so many years ago! But today is the first time in thirty years that I listen to it. Very, very good!
Sweet
@@N8_Presents I finally, just now, read your comment...for the first time. It was sweet!
Шедевр безотносительно к направлению. Просто музыкальный шедевр.
This is a dynamic crazy album.. it is such an awesome sound..it sets the bar high.. gosh dam, I must upgrade my sound system.. there will never be bands like this or sounds!!! I am overwhelmed by this music .. pure sex.
You may or may not enjoy the band Papir whom I like to listen to while relaxing in the sun or on a bike ride
Invest in some nice headphones or even decent ones. Brings it all to life. I got some skull Candy crusher headphones that are awesome, for only $130.
@@jagermikestar which album would you recommend?
@@Boognish_ .. I think Stundum is a great place to start but IIII may be my favorite.. in all actuality you cant go wrong listening to the entire collection in order or songs from A-Z.. it doesn't matter!
32:35 this linear groove.. in 7/8 time.. with those dynamics.. just disgusting. Amazing skill
Fucking mind blowing.
😮
Sounds like music for an episode of Cannon. That means I love it.
Hier stimmt das Plattencover mal mit dem gebotenen Tönen überein, man steht meist im "Musikalisch dahin Plätschernden" Regen😭
Ian Carr was an immense talent and a great band leader.
Kind of music that suit an old great movie!
Thanks so much for the upload..I put it in my Killer Jazz playlist...This is my third listen...It gets better every time...:)

Wow!!! Another awesome LP?!? This band is truly a fantastic occurance! Thanks PsychoRock
Since leaving school and Uni , most people I encounter have never heard of nucleus . What a loss to them
Relaxing album,nice very nice.
I call this the Bryan Spring album - his improvisation on this is astounding!
He can be seen live with Nucleus here: ua-cam.com/video/NMp-bdUbM2A/v-deo.html
Rites of Man is amazing: a raw, growling jazz-funk workout.
There are no words...perfect
Both alley cay and this. Always looking for funky and aggressive beats. This is like afro rock with jazz. I don't even know what to call this. But the shit is smooth. 🤙
Das letzte der großen Alben von Nucleus, würde ich sagen.
Impresionante, delicioso álbum !!
These guys are made of Heavens House Band stuff.
one of the best albums I've ever heard

I was waiting for the flute. Sure enough
ALTÍSIMA CALIDAD. DE LO MEJOR QUE HA HABIDO.

Thanks for posting this wonder!
Thanks for putting this on the tube!
Hey, does anybody know who the bass player is?
I looked in the description but I could not figure out where bass guitar was but I was just wondering because I really like their playing on these tracks! I really like the keyboard player too!
I mean, of course the horns are awesome and so essential to the sound but none of this would be possible without that bass player locking it down cause even the drummer is playing lead drums half the time! lol
Such a great band!
Roger Sutton
there is a great live concert of Nucleus in one of the scandinavian countries from around this time which shows roger sutton and a fab drum solo by bryan spring check it out, its mind blowing, also great interviews vith ian carr its from 1974 and is on youtube.

ayyy i'm coming down off of acid and stumbled across this
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I can almost hear Miles.
Weird.....miles was my last video, and you're the first comment on this one. The plot of brainwashing thickens
@@jacehendrix3194 Not weird at all, just the nature of the algorithms. :)
@@Fyloeu algorithms aren't natural in the same sense as biological matter. I do not settle for a biomechanical mind if it's up to me, but my government likes to fuck my brain with my phone
@@jacehendrix3194 Certainly but I mean there is data that I commented Miles and you were listening to Miles and the algorithms put the two together along with all other data of your history and preferences and here we are and it's convenient and you've discovered something new.
@@Fyloeu but I'm still looking at the goddamn phone and haven't accomplished anything. I'm aware of what algorithms are, but I don't like to accept things that keep me living like a labrat.
So heavy!
