    This is the most satisfying sea fishing video I've ever watched, because it's the only one I've seen that's shown a bite!!! We all sit there for hours on end, staring intently, waiting for that magic moment.... it's a joy to behold.

    Brilliant to see the bites on the rods, most people miss filming the most exciting part of fishing, very well done

    Hi insertpie thankyou for watching the video and I'm glad you liked it. With 40 people in the match and the spacings between each person weighing each fish and returning was not an option, all fish taken were sizeable and none were wasted. We normally perform c&r as you will see in our other videos.

      Agree they would hardly make a few fish fingers, let them grow bigger

      It's an anglers perogative if he wishes to keep insize fish. If you prefer catch and release then that's fine but some take legally sized fish for the table.

    Henry west 2 different Zziplex rods were being used, the profile GT is 13ft 3 and is a lighter rod and the bullet GT is 13 ft and is more of a mixed to heavy ground rod, in this video it is being used with a reducer in the butt section.

    will this baiting technique work with blowlug?

    • @Addicted2Angling
      @Addicted2Angling  9 років тому

      Blow lug not so good mate I add a blow or 2 into cocktails , rag works extremely well thought I take 3-4 and using this same method I make big rag baits for bass and stingrays. Cheers for watching mate

    Check your scales I thown bigger whiting back

    • @Addicted2Angling
      @Addicted2Angling  8 років тому

      Stephen Jennis cod size limit is 35cm, measured on a ruler weighed later, I've also thrown bigger whiting back but it is an anglers option as to whether they take a fish for the table but if it's over 35cm there should be no issue. Personally I think the cod size limit is too small and should be 42 at least but for the purposes of this video a ruler was used to check it was inside according to IFCA legislation which it is. Thankyou for commenting and good luck with your fishing

      Really enjoyed the video but have to agree that I was disapointed to see so many small fish not returned and also feel the size limit should be increased to 42cm. I understand that it is up to the individual angler if they keep them but we also have a responsibilty as anglers to ensure the future fish stocks of what we enjoy fishing for.
      Other than that great video and keep up the good work.
      Cheers.

    First off get a sound sock on your microphone or put the camera in the shelter, second where does the weighted boom rig come in play and any thing to do with Cod fishing from the shore?.

    • @Addicted2Angling
      @Addicted2Angling  9 років тому

      This is the first film we had made and I had no idea how the sound would come out, the weighted boom pushes the bait away from the rig body and holds the bait tight on the bottom, it works for me so I used it in this video

    • @colinchaplin
      @colinchaplin 9 років тому

      +Addicted2Angling Thank you for your reply. Well yes, if it's your first video fair enough and best of luck with your next one, i hope you can sort the sound out for your next one. The reason about the rig i asked about the weighted boom is, i did not see you use it in your video for the Cod fishing, could please explain what species, where and when you would use that rig, it's good to see someone using that rig again?. Thank you again Colin.
