@@Joseph-gm3qmother than Ramona, almost all of them needed outside help to be even in Sheldon's vicinity much less interest. While he has no real desire to forge a relationship with Lalita, the ease of how Sheldon charmed her does show he can get a date IF he wanted.

I'm not sure what is funnier. The fact that Raj lost his date to Sheldon of all people or the fact that Lalita fell for Sheldon because he called her a princess.

Back when Sheldon was odd but had a charm to him. Then they doubled down on his a hole levels and he became terrible.
Raj by contrast was always terrible and just used alcohol as an excuse to be ass

Ikr also tbh I feel like they should have Raj be in a Poly relationship with both Howard and Bernadette. I know that people viewed Polyamory as a bad thing back then idk how people view it now tbh. There was one episode where the writers even teased this kind of relationship when Raj imagined Howard giving consent for him to be with Bernadette while he was away. Honestly, they both clearly love the man and instead of leaving him alone like this in the end he should have just ended up in a polyamorous relationship with the man the writers were either just homophobic af or they just felt like it was wrong for Raj to have the ability to love more than one person at the same time
Heck even Amy felt like she was Bi and Polyamorus she still was in love with Penny even after she got together with Sheldon
Although Raj did get a lot better regarding the alcohol in later seasons and he at least did try to find a woman of his own but unfortunately he just kept on making the same mistakes over and over again and he kept on getting dumped it was getting frustrating with his character writing
You're kidding, right? Sheldon was always a pompous narcissist, even in the earlier seasons.

I prefer the scene where Sheldon demonstrates to Amy, his usually rather esoteric interpretation, of slapstick comedy; by dropping his trousers (pants) to reveal his most unfashionable brief jockey-type underwear.
All of which he managed to present in an unsmiling manner.
Sheldon got the girl because he said what he honestly thought. Not some mumbojumbo he thought she would like to hear.
He was feeding her ego and babbling mumbojumbo about a princess she never heard of.

Aside from Raj being a dumbass and Sheldon didn't intended, it was a dick move on his part to take Raj's date like Leonard said later on. If anything, Raj dodged a bullet with Lalita as she was smitten by compliments from someone who wasn't even interested in her. Like all women.
It wasn't any move on his part. Imagine you waking up and brushing your teeth, you point at a bird outside and say it's a beautiful bird, and suddenly, you are called a dick. That's how it is from Sheldon's perspective. In fact, he wasn't even complimenting her. He was simply pointing out what he saw, and he went to eat because he was hungry. And as you said, if she wasn't a red flag, this wouldn't have happened at all. So, if anything, Sheldon just saved Raj from a disaster.
