52, 53, 56 and 57 all seem to have disappeared alright and as you say, 51 and 58 seem to be the only single-door ones left. The six VWDs on the 303 today are all VWD42X's so that adds to my suspicion. It'll be interesting to see if the EWDs come out again tomorrow on the 302 and maybe other routes.
I think it might be because being at the end of the passenger rake, it is easy to ind and people aren't walking through from other carriages.

i think the only remaining single door ones are vwd51 and 58
coach g is always quiet i dont know why
vwd56 and 57 also have'nt seen in service for 2 weeks. looks like more vwds are leaving limerick already and i dont know where they are also
