  • The Women’s High Jump event got underway at 15:13 (local time) on July 4, 2021, at Stockholm Olympic Stadium. The Temperature range that afternoon was 25°C - 27°C (77°F - 81°F).
    Side Note: On the long videos (Complete Event) videos on my UA-cam channel you will only hear the background sound in the stadium including the Stadium Announcers voice in the local language, English sometimes, music, the cheering fans, just as if you were sitting at the stadium watching.     How It Unfolded:
    Round 4 @ 1.89m
    All athletes cleared 1.89m.
    Round 5 @ 1.93m
    Erika Kinsey (SWE) could not clear 1.93m 3X, thus, she was eliminated. The Remaining athletes would continue to the next round.
    Round 6 @ 1.96m
    Lang (SUI), and Licwinko (POL) failed 3X at 1.96m, thus, are eliminated. Demidik (BLR) Misses 2X at 1.96m and skips her 3rd try to go to the next round. The Remaining athletes successfully clear 1.96m and continue to the next round.
    Round 7 @ 1.99m
    Demidik (BLR) misses at 1.99m and is eliminated, and so are Gerashchenko (UKR), and Patterson (AUS) after trying 3X. McDermott (AUS) and Mahuchikn (UKR) successfully clear 1.99m and continue to the next round.
    Round 8 @ 2.01m
    Both Athletes successfully clear 2.01m and continue to the next round.
    Round 9 @ 2.03m
    McDermott (AUS) misses 3X at 2.03m and is eliminated. Mahuchikh clears the height successfully on her 3rd try and is the Winner.
    Round 10 @ 2.07m
    Mahuchikh attempts to clear 2.07m 3X and misses.
