Things i learn from a recent move: 1) Request for permit for moving out/moving in respectively from both locations. Pay the necessary deposit (if needed). Identify the allowed time to do the moving (some places dont allow moving on sunday) 2) Pay extra for a tailgate. This will make moving in out items from truck easier 3) Always check for reviews for whatever moving companies you hire. 4) Standby with some cash at hand in case of emergencies 5) Double check payment terms with the mover. Have it written. Sometimes they refuse to unload your items until you make full payment 6) Wrapped all your items. Some companies provide such services 7) Identify your loading bays. Check if lift is operational or not. Residential buldings only have bomba lift. 8) Have some friends help you. Brace yourself as it is going to be a STRESSFUL day
Pay for proper mover than lalamove. Recently moved my house with a company called 'cheap venture', real cheap but the quality of service is top notch. They wrapped everything extra than I would imagine, skillful arrangement in the truck and include dismantling assembling furniture, for 50+km n 5 ton lorry only 1300
Very informative series and points to take note during a move. Keep up the good work even though the views on this series is not gaining much traction. It will come soon😂 someday someone will have to move and start looking for this video
I did this last time about 15 years ago from rented property to my permenant property. Sebelah2 only 😂😅🤭 …. From 720 sqft ( rented apartment) to 1,142 sqft ( permanent apartment ) 😊. I moved manually, did it portion by portion and day by day 😁

Well the delayed part is not the moving anyway, it’s the waiting of lift. So by helping I don’t think it’s gonna help much. Plus he paid for the services mah. You’re the one who is being super kind hahaha:)
what do you think about getting professional defect check people to come help do the defect check on the unit before moving in? was wondering about this as this is like a process to go through before actually moving in. then i actually really like this series where you discuss bout the concerns to lookout for during the moving process. hence my question on the 'before' part
Well landed doesn't mean it's better hahaha. It still depends on the specific profile of that landed, is it intermediate? Does it require renovation? Is it guarded? Only after understanding all that we can have a better comparison.

Yea. The price is pretty okay and I like that it's transparent. The moving process was very unfortunate because the entrance to the yard space was really too tight.

She shared with the husband ;)
So iherng, are you going to do a review of Seresta? You'll find many things there... eyebrow raising
Didn’t get the opportunity yet:)
700 for 2 trucks is cheap. chipped tile, scratched wall... hmm there is no guarantee movers are more attentive if you buy new white goods instead.
