Got a mgf in Brisbane Australia ..Just love it,no gasget problems,,too hot to put the roof down in summer, have to wait till autumn,or early mornings and evenings!
Yes they did, but if you took good care of it with regular maintenance, you should have no issues. We had an F in the family for a few years - never encountered the head gasket problem. The only issue we had was a broken wheel (massive pothole) and the rear windscreen was hopeless. It would fog up excessively and seeing out back was impossible. However, good ones can be found for ridiculously cheap prices now so it's worth a look.
I'm 99% sure the clip at the beginning with the bloke doing 'danger' driving with the helmet on is from Rayne, Braintree in Essex. If I'm correct then I've got serious skills! lol I'm thinking of getting a TF for the summer. You can pick one cheap nowadays.
Love this. Brilliant. I love my TF. Incredible car
Bought a 54 plate in July and as the summer has been great the hood has rarely been up. Love and adore the car, wished I'd have bought one years ago.

These things have an amazing value for the price.

I actually think they're nice cars. A little touching up here and there and look awesome.
Thanks mate, glad you like it ;)
My (Feb 2005) MG TF Sparky has been fun to drive and I love it. When is the next MG roadster coming 🤔

Did they not have trouble with these K series engines blowing gaskets?
