But I could not create a Calendar Table for The Annual Sales ( For Which I tried). I got a message that saying " The function cannot find the base column of Date Time type in the model'. Then I tried to change the data type of the year column to Date type I got a different data values starting the year 1905... I really appreciate your thoughts on this issue...Thank you
Great explanation, What if I have merged cells in excel in different columns and I want to show it exactly the same in Power BI, without transforming merged cells. Pls reply
When you load, for example, a table for 2018, another for 2019 and another 2020, but they all represent the same thing.. then you UNION them together into one single table using Append Queries
Trying to prep my data. My Data was pasted into one spreadsheet by many users. Some mis-pasted one column to the right so data not aligned.i have 20,000 rows so I can't check each column because of the max items viewable in editor. Should I just clean in excel?

Hi Leonardo, thanks for proving us PBI lessons in English, these are really useful lessons. In lesson no 3 construction cost data the first column is the date but in text format, if I try to convert it to date most of the rows shows errors, how can we handle this case.
It can be the regional settings, because it can change from dd/mm/yy to mm/dd/yy. To change the type to date correctly, go with the right click on the column and there will be an option to change with different Locale. Or try to change your regional settings in the Options menu (File -> Options -> Regional Settings). Bests
