heyyyyyyy polin nation..... anybody else already getting totally demolished by the post-s3 depression? 😅
so even though there were quite a few aspects of polin in 3b that really upset me, there was so much to love & still plenty of material to sink our teeth into. bottom line is I love these two with my whole fucking heart and nothing will change that. I spent 2 full days pouring my soul into this edit and with that, I think I'm going to be mostly living in fanfic world for a while. feel free to follow me on ao3 for some fic recs in my bookmarks & keep an eye out for the polin s3 au fic I've been working on... hopefully dropping in the next month or so???? 🤞archiveofourow...

This is insane! Especially loved the part with them making jokes and laughing together (plant pun and olive joke was such a cute parallel), but the whole thing summarises their relationship beautifully
I don’t watch this show but this is literally one of my fav songs of all time too, so that plus your editing, of course I had to watch this!! ugh this is so gorgeous as always, you really illustrate their story so well, I get such a good sense of it through your scene and quote selection. they seem so cute, I wish I was more interested in period shows.. I dunno why I’ve never really been able to get into period pieces haha, I’m seriously so boring I generally just always stick with my modern day set stuff 😂 but your editing is so epic and just makes them look so adorable, maybe my tastes have matured by now and I’ll end up wanting to watch some day soon who knows! anyway, just absolutely incredible work as always 🩵
trust that if you ever did end up watching it & I got a polin edit from you I would die on the spot in utter happiness 😭😭 but also I totally get not wanting to force yourself into genres that aren’t your fave! I can’t even tell you the amount of shows I have devoured edits for that I have absolutely nooo interest in actually watching lmao. I was/am pretty indifferent about bridgerton s1 but I loooooved s2 and then once I read the book that this season is based on I was just a goner. I cannot resist a slow burn friends to lovers story!
also so glad you’re a fellow lover of this song… there must be crack in it bc usually once I edit a song I get so overexposed to it & I’m like I don’t need to listen to this for like another year at least but this one???? nope, still love it as much as the first time I heard it!

okay first of all, I love the vapor wave aesthetic of this song. "Coursing through these cold veins" while showing him bleeding????? The parallels at 1:05???? fucking loved that. I too have a polin meltdown going on and wished we got more of these two in the 2nd half. It makes me heartsick knowing that it’s finally finished but I feel like the fans deserved more with these two. Regardless, I loved every polin moment and am most grateful for it.
I hope you continue editing these two for it TRULY helps me love them even more!
